Who doesn't like Kellen Moore?  He re-signed with the Detroit Lions when not a lot of fans gave him a chance to make the NFL Club.  However, long before he left the Blue, Moore was a long shot to play for BSU.  Through his grit, guile, determination, and other admirable traits, Moore led the Broncos to beat the unbeatable.

I've always said that Boise State should retire Moore's number eleven.  It's really not fair to allow anyone to wear that number when you consider his accomplishments in college football.  Let's hope that the Broncos do the right thing and retire number eleven this year.

Here are the eleven top reason to retire #11.

1. He holds the record for the most all time wins (50) in the NCAA.  Moore was 50-3 at BSU, a record that will probably never be broken.

2.  Moore was a Heisman Trophy Finalist in 2010.

3.  He threw for 142 touchdown passes, which is second all time.

4.  Moore was the Mountain West Player of the Year in 2011.

5.  He was the 2009 WAC Player of the Year.

6.  Moore was the 2010 WAC Player of the Year.

7.  He was the 2010 MAAC Bowl MVP.

8.  Moore threw for over 14,000 yards in the NCAA FBS.  Only six players have ever thrown for so many yards.

9.  He is the Boise State career leader in TD Passes, Passing Yards, Total Offense, Completion Percentage, and Pass Efficiency.

10.  Moore was named to the Mountain West Conference All Academic Team in 2011.

11.  He was named to the WAC All Academic Team in 2008, 2009, and 2010.

Bonus- He's the only BSU QB currently on a NFL Roster.
