A third earthquake has hit Idaho in less than a week. This time a 4.6 quake hit north of Challis. The Custer County Sheriff's Office says it was felt by residents, but they have not had any reports of damage. Last Saturday, a 4.9 earthquake shook north of Challis. That was the largest quake to hit Idaho in nearly a decade, then on Thursday Challis was hit with a magnitude 4.1 earthquake.
