Police in Kuna say the families of three young girls will have to pay restitution after the confessed to causing nearly $15,000 in vandalism to a home under construction. The girls ages 10, 12, and 13 admitted to throwing paint over the inside of the home, including walls, countertops, cabinets, windows, ceilings and floors.
The girls could face felony charges of malicious injury to property in juvenile court, but detectives are requesting they be put in a diversion program. A judge will make the final decision on their punishment.
