A 5 year old child who was hurt Saturday after a salt block fell on his head died.
According to Idaho State Police the child was riding in a vehicle on Highway 52, 13 miles north of Emmett, with 25 year old Jason Atwood of Nampa, when a salt block fell off the pickup truck in front of their vehicle.
66 year old Ronald Morgenthaler, of Weiser, was driving north with two pallets of salt blocks on his flatbed.
