From time to time people drop off babies at fire stations, this week a baby deer was left at a Boise Fire station. Members of the fire station say a gardener found the fawn and feared it had been abandoned. Firefighters and paramedics at Station 8 called Idaho Fish & Game who sent volunteers from Animals in Distress, a volunteer Idaho Wildlife Rescue group. Volunteers say they will help fawn with the goal of returning her back to her native habitat.
