Most are not big fans of snow finally hitting Idaho but some cannot wait to hit the slopes and shred that powder.  Well, wait no longer my friends.  This last storm brought in enough snow to give us the green light.  Bogus Basin officially opened their Nordic ski operations today.  Paul McNeil, Director of Nordic Operations said...

We are excited to get Nordic operations at Bogus Basin underway for the 2018-19 winter season.  The Nordic trails do not require as much snow to open and the forecast is looking favorable through the weekend.

There are miles of trails at Bogus Basin including the Nordic Highway, Shaffer Butte Extension, Mores Mountain Extension, Sappers Return and Red Tail. Lessons, rentals, and retail will be available at the Frontier Point Nordic Center.

According to KTVB, Bogus Basin is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. over the weekend and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.  They'll be fully operational and open in every way on December 8th.
