Boise County Air Quality Hits Orange Level

Smoke in many parts of the Treasure Valley has put the Boise area in a yellow air quality alert. In Boise County the smoke is much worse and dangerous, prompting The Department of Health and Welfare to call the air quality there "unhealthy."

Officials warn people who have trouble breathing or heart problems to avoid being outside whenever possible.
If you have plans to go to Boise County this weekend, know that the smoke will likely stick around, and the air quality is in the Orange category.
