Boise Police are asking for your help!

On January 24th at 2:59 pm, Boise Police responded to a report of an aggravated battery inside a residence on the 900 block of Allumbaugh St.  The victim and the suspect were in the residence together when the victim was hit in the head with a large object and witnesses saw a male suspect leaving the scene on foot.   An investigation led police to identify Kevin Rye as a suspect in the aggravated battery.  The investigation is ongoing and at this time it appears to be a random attack. Kevin Rye is currently wanted by the Boise Police Department for a Felony Aggravated Battery that occurred on January 24, 2017 in the 900 block of N Allumbaugh St.

Rye is suspected of striking a subject with an object causing severe lacerations to the victim’s head.
