Brian Scott roared to second place Saturday afternoon at the Talladega Superspeedway finishing just behind race winner Joey Lagano.  Scott appeared to have been shuffled to the back due to the typical draft fluctuations of 'Dega.'  He was sixth coming out of turn two on the final lap.

Scott used every trick and skill to move within seconds of beating Lagano.  Scott had this to say to Fox Sports after the race. "This was a fast car, it seemed like the Fords had a little more speed than us, but really proud of our effort."

The Idaho Native continued to share how much winning at Taladega meant to him and RCR Racing.  "I wanted it so bad and then the top four broke away and we're pushing each other and I couldn't quite get there.  Off of turn four I got a huge run finally when they separated.  JJ Yeley and Almirola   worked all day together and I just got a shove and went to the outside and tried to make something happen."

Scott wanted to make sure he let his fans know how much their support means to him. "Second here by far is best restrictor plate finish these things all seem to snake by me and I'll take it.  Thanks to everyone who supported me."
