We got a call from our friend Shame shortly before KTVB first reported the fire at 1:54 p.m. At that time it was two acres in size.  Since then, it's grown to 20 acres and is threatening structures.

HW 21 is closed between Lucky Peak Dam Road and Highland Valley Road. Ada Country Sherriff's Office crews have been dispatched to help control traffic in those areas.

The fire can be seen on the Idaho Department of Transportation traffic cams which KTVB has thrown onto their live feed.
