A Valley Ride city bus veered off the road and struck the Idaho Power corporate headquarters early Monday morning. The crash caused delays during morning traffic at the intersection of 13th and Main Streets in downtown Boise. Witnesses say the bus crashed into several parked cars and light poles in a nearby parking lot before crashing into the building and damaging a support beam. Police say the Valley Ride bus experienced brake failure, and the driver wasn't able to maintain control. One person was treated for injuries.
