Could The Obama Administration Take Dave Ramsey Off The Air?

We all love the Dave Ramsey Show.  His show is a lesson in fiscal responsibility and bipartisan economics.  So why would the Obama Administration want to take Dave off the air?  The Department of Labor is considering a new restriction on individuals who give advice to others concerning their retirement funds reports Forbes.  Backers of the bill want a greater accountability placed on financial advisers who give advice over the air.  The article states that anyone who gives financial advice could be restricted from doing so in the future.  This would include our great friend on 580 KIDO, Dave Petso.

We all understand what the government's alleged intent is.  However, they would be well served to look at the positive impact that Dave Ramsey has had on his listeners for years.  Let's hope that the Washington Bureaucrats come to their senses and Dave is around for years and years living better than he deserves!
