Emmett City Councilman Arrested

Emmett city councilor Stephen Frey was arrested late last month on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The arrest came nearly two months after the Emmett Police Department received a call of suspicious circumstances. The Idaho Statesman says, Police Chief Steve Nebeker asked the Idaho State Police to investigate the case because of a conflict of interest because Frey sits on the council. The charges were filed following that investigation. No hearing date has been set.
