We could have record numbers of early voters casting ballots this election, and the new "Food Truck Voting" idea may have a lot to do with it.

They've announced the schedule outlining when and where the truck will roll up, and we've got all the info.

There's no actual food on this truck, just ballots.  But the idea is the same as it would be if it were loaded down with tacos and gyros.  Take the truck to the people, and they will come to the window and grab what's coming out.

On Monday at the Ada County Courthouse, they'll start passing out early ballots and you can cast your vote right then and there.  Early voting runs October 17th - November 4th.

Boise Weekly says the truck will move on to Blue Cross of Idaho on Tuesday the 18th, and Micron Wednesday and Thursday, and it will park at Saint Alphonsus hospital next Friday morning before it moves on to the Veterans' Administration Building that afternoon.

If the truck isn't near you during the early voting period, of course you can cast an early ballot at the usual non-moving spots including the Ada County Elections Office, Boise City Hall, Meridian City Hall and Eagle Senior Center.

Just vote!  And if you want to avoid the crowds, avoid the lunch hour and the after-work rush.

The General Election is November 8th.
