Former BSU Recruit Sentenced In Gun Case
An article in the Fort Worth Star Telegram says former Boise State running back recruit Raymond Sheard has plead guilty to a misdemeanor gun charge and been sentenced to probation stemming from an incident this spring at Arlington (Texas) High School. He was sentenced to two years of probation with deferred adjudication. He wasn’t indicted on the charges related to marijuana and prescriptions drugs that originally were part of the case.
After his arrest, Boise State officials said Sheard wouldn’t be joining the program.
