This week’s exploding with fun. Parade, 4th of July celebrations at Ann Morrison Park, Storey Park in Meridian, and an all-day deal in Melba. Arts and crafts festivals in Roseberry and Meridian on Saturday, Alive After Five on Wednesday, and the Lavender You-Cut Harvest in Nampa.

Boise 4th of July Parade
Fri., July 4, 11 a.m.
Parade starts at 10th and Jefferson, circling east to Fifth, south to Idaho and west to 11th. FREE

Meridian Independence Day Festival
Friday, July 4, 3-10:15 pm
Storey Park/ Meridian Speedway
Bouncy houses, giant slide, obstacle course, live bands,safe and sane fireworks area, Meridian Speedway races. Fireworks display at 10:15.

4th of July Celebration in the Park
8am-10:15 pm and later
Spend the day at Ann Morrison Park with the Idaho Statesman Chalk Art Festival, children’s bike decorating contest and parade, entertainment stage, fireworks, and a movie!

Melba “Old Tyme” Fourth of July
7 am-after 10pm
Fun run, parade, arts and crafts fair, concessions, fly-over, car show, fairway of children’s games, fried chicken lunch, antique tractor pull, stage entertainment, horseshoe pitching, chicken round up, mud volleyball, fireworks display.

Roseberry Arts and Crafts Fair
