The kids are back in school, Labor Day’s in the rear view mirror, but since we live in the Treasure Valley, the family-friendly, mostly free entertainment continues. Block parties, major Art happening in the Park, a celebration of tomatoes with local farmers and food trucks, a mid-week Farmers Market, and some big business and social happenings going on in Meridian.

Want even more? You can visit the Appetite for Idaho page on Facebook, where stuff to see, eat, and do is posted every weekday.

Have a FUN week,

~Amy

LIZ Family Night and Trade Show
Wed., Sept. 10, 5:30-8:30 p.m.
Honalee Farm Event Center 7010 Moon Valley Road, Eagle
They call themselves Lizzers. They have networking groups, outings, and an online magazine, too. (That my friend Christy Stansell has something to do with). And, turns out, the LIZ people are pretty inclusive folk. This event’s a good one to take the whole family to, with music, vendors, giveaways, food for purchase, bouncy houses, and lots of talking and eating and laughing and stuff out on the patio. Meridian Business Day
Fri., Sept. 12, 8 a.m.
Meridian City Hall 33 E. Broadway Ave., Meridian
The Meridianites (and others in the Treasure Valley) talk about it all year long. Thinking my friends Ron Kern, Brandon Wright, and Derrick Boles are probably going to be there, and they’re all cool, so you should go. It’s a networking, get to know you, business relationship building day, and it’s worthwhile. If you have a business, consider attending. More info at meridiancity.org. FREE 208-888-4433
