Boise's average gas price has come down nearly 75 cents since the start of December, dipping below $2 per gallon for the first time since 2009. According to AAA Idaho, the price of gas in The Treasure Valley fell 20 cents in the week leading up to Jan. 5.
According to Gasbuddy.com the cheapest gas in Boise as of Tuesday morning is at The Tesoro station on Broadway, the average price in Nampa was $2.25 on Jan. 5.
Idaho's average on Jan. 5 was $2.10 per gallon, an 82-cent drop from a month ago.
