Grandson of Julia Davis Dies

The grandson of Boise pioneers Julia and Tom Davis, passed away last weekend of natural causes. Tom Davis was 98. Tom grew up in Boise, but later in life moved to Cascade. According to The Idaho Statesman his father, Edwin Davis, traded his stake in the Davis family's holdings in Boise for a large ranch in Cascade.

Tom Davis helped organize Cascade's first July 4 celebration in the 1930s.
