Cold temperatures in the valley are costing consumers some cold cash as Intermountain Gas announced that trend peaked Sunday, which saw the utility sold more gas than any other day in its history. Demand numbers weren’t immediately available for Idaho Power, which delivers electricity to the Treasure Valley. Temperatures in the Southern part of the state dropped to -20 at 6:45 a.m. Monday. In the Treasure Valley temperatures dropped below Zero.
