KIDO Talk Radio announced today the 4-year extension of Kevin Miller. Kevin is the Brand Manager for KIDO Talk Radio and also hosts the Kevin Miller Show, mornings 5 a.m. to  9 a.m. weekdays. This program features an experienced voice for live and local interactive conversation about news, politics, community advocacy and events that affect the lives of people throughout the Treasure Valley. In addition to Miller, KIDO features all the latest news, dependable traffic, and accurate weather services listeners have come to expect from KIDO for the last nine decades. The program is available live and available on demand (podcast) online worldwide at KIDOTALKRADIO.com.
Kevin was named Medium Market Personality of the Year at the 2014 National Association of Broadcasters' (NAB) Marconi Radio Awards. For Miller, Radio is Community, using his daily show and digital platform to find solutions for the many Treasure Valley community needs. He’s been known to go “all in” on issues dear to his heart including a week long live-in fundraising campaign for the Canyon County Animal Shelter when it faced the threat of closure. The Kevin In the Kennel live broadcast was nationally recognizes by Rachael Ray and the ASPCA, resulting in a $25,000 donation to save the shelter and thousands in pet adoptions.
When the unemployment rate ramped up, Miller created the Getting Idaho Back To Work campaign, which matched unemployed listeners with employers seeking help, supported by Idaho Governor Butch Otter. During the holidays, the Boise Rescue Mission relies on Miller’s Mission annual campaign to provide funds and food for the many local homeless adults and children.
Devotedly, during the school year, you’ll find Miller broadcasting live from a local school once a week giving students and faculty the opportunity to witness firsthand how radio can educate and engage conversation.

Kevin Miller’s Promote Our Schools – Secure Our Future program is designed to support the schools while highlighting the incredible work that our teachers are doing today to prepare the leaders of tomorrow.

“It is an honor to continue to represent the great people of the Treasure Valley and Idaho. I can’t wait to hear what you have to say for the next four years. Our goals are to cover the news and positively promote Idaho.” says Kevin Miller.

Commenting on the extension, Kevin Godwin, Senior Vice President of Townsquare Media said, “Kevin Miller epitomizes what we look for in live and local talent. His work ethic, his commitment to providing quality local content to our audience and his ability to connect to those things most important to the community is second to none. The extraordinary current political, financial and cultural events of the time demand experience and a greater commitment to our listeners, advertisers, and the business community at large. I’m certain Kevin and KIDO Talk Radio will continue to deliver on that commitment.”
