Let’s Speculate Wildly About These ‘Westworld’ Season Finale Photos

If you thought Game of Thrones liked to keep its finales cryptic, just try to figure out where Westworld will take us in Sunday’s Season 1 closer “The Bicameral Mind.” HBO has released the full cryptic photo set, as well as a brief synopsis, so let’s throw our wildest, west-est theories at thew wall!

We’ve already seen a first trailer, but the final Westworld of 2016 (and likely 2017) isn’t going to make things easy on us. there’s the final showdown (well, maybe not final) between Dolores and the mysterious Man in Black, Maeve’s growing rebellion and more, while the full synopsis for “The Bicameral Mind” reads:

Ford (Anthony Hopkins) unveils his bold new narrative; Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood) embraces her identity; Maeve (Thandie Newton) sets her plan in motion.

So let’s get to it! Here we see a familiar sight from the first nine episodes, a town full of corpses (probably Sweetwater, not the abandoned town), while Teddy is back in his starter clothes at the restart of his loop. Could the corpses be another glimpse of his own past? We’ll come back to this one.

Next, it looks as if Felix is trying to keep cool with the now-three escaping hosts, including Armstice, Hector and Maeve. No telling exactly how Armstice got in that mix, or why she doesn’t seem to warrant a snazzy change of clothes.

Back at the once-abandoned church, it doesn’t appear as if Dolores and her black-hat baddie have started smacking one another around just yet, but there’s of course the cryptic sight of Dolores’ name on one of the grave markers …

… which, one has to wonder: Did Ford have the town dug up and rebuilt with Dolores’ death already scripted out? Is there a prior Dolores already buried in there?

Finally, Dolores is back in her blue getup, and seemingly facing off with Teddy from the previous shot.

Did she slaughter the town? Are we looking at Teddy’s fresh loop, or another vision from the past? Is Dolores “embracing her identity” as Wyatt?! And are we really giving up on Elsie?!?! WHAT DOES IT MEAN, I DON’T UND –
