Two travelers were found carrying loaded guns in their carry on bags at two different Idaho airports this week.

According to an official report released by the Transportation Security Administration, a woman traveling to Salt Lake City from the Magic Valley Regional Airport was found carrying a loaded .380 caliber Sig Sauer P238 with seven rounds in her gun. She was not cited.

A few hours later, a man was caught at the Boise Airport with a loaded .040 Sig Sauer gun at 10 a.m. on Thursday. His gun was holding ten rounds.
These incidents proved to be the first time in 2016 that the TSA found firearms in carry-on luggage at the Magic Valley Regional Airport and the ninth time a loaded gun was found at the Boise Airport this year.

Passengers can face criminal charges for bringing guns to a TSA security checkpoint, and can face a fine up to $7,500.
