Man Clearing Brush Starts Fire On Overland Road

Hot dry conditions continued to be a problem for fire crews in the valley after a tractor clearing brush sparked in a field along Overland Road just past Five Mile in Boise at about 2:30 Sunday afternoon.
The accidental fire burned about one-acre. Several homes and a nearby trailer were threatened early on when the wind changed directions.
No one was injured but the blaze did scorch quite a bit of fencing.
