Man Rescued From Canal Dies In Hospital

An unidentified man who was pulled from the New York Canal has died. Lynn Hightower with Boise PD who identified the man only as Mr. Martinez, took a turn for the worse Friday and died Saturday after making progress through the week toward recovery. Police didn't know how Martinez who is described as a transient got into the water.
