Hollywood Legend Martin Landau has died at 89 years of age. The actor was known for many famous roles including Mission Impossible. I'll remember him for his ability at any age to adapt to an ever changing environment.  Landau won a Golden Globe and an Oscar for his portrayal of Bella Lugosi in the movie Ed Wood.  Age did not stop him from stealing the show in the HBO Series Entourage later in life.

I first saw Landau's brilliant work in Space 1999 a science fiction fantasy television series.  The show aired in the mid 1970s.  It's hard to believe, for some of us, that 1999 was so long ago.

And here is year two.  Enjoy the flashback and groundbreaking special effects for its time.

Rest in piece Martin.  Thanks for the many years of entertainment.
