City of Boise incumbents and the two-year levy measure had easy wins yesterday.

Results from the Ada County Clerk’s office showed Mayor David Bieter taking a record fourth four-year term. Mayor Bieter won 68.8 percent of the vote to 26.4 percent for challenger Judy Peavey-Derr.

Voters also favored a conservation levy almost 3 to 1. The $10 million, two-year levy will set money aside for open space protection and water quality projects.

City Councilman Scot Ludwig had 69.3 percent of ballots cast, Elaine Clegg also won a fourth consecutive term with 66.7 percent of the vote. Lauren McLean, the third City Council member up for election this year, ran unopposed.
