It’s that time of year again, when Game of Thrones production spills all manner of secrets to prying eyes, and Season 7 may yet answer some big questions leftover from last year. New reports tease some shocking confrontations for the Greyjoys, and potentially even our first notable death.

Take this with a grain of salt (maybe a throne of it) as well as an ocean’s worth of spoiler warnings, but the reliable folk at Watchers on the Wall uncovered some major intel on Season 7's plan for Euron Greyjoy. Anticipation for the character somewhat dwindled with Pilou Asbæk’s brief appearances as the Trump-esque Iron Islands savior, but Euron might quickly have assembled enough ships to catch up to his nephew and niece:

Watchers on the Wall has learned that GoT filming this week centered around Yara and Theon Greyjoy engaging in battle at sea. It appears that their uncle Euron is catching up to the siblings and will capture one of them.

It looks like a big year is in the works for Euron- we hear that he and Queen Cersei are teaming up in season 7.

One further warning, the report also seems to list a known character that dies by Euron’s hand, but you’ll have to click through for yourself to read that one.

Elsewhere of Game of Thrones Season 7, a list of directors for the year has been announced, along with rumors of some major set pieces, while at least a portion of filming will take place in Iceland. Harry Potter star Jim Broadbent has been confirmed for a “significant” role, but sadly without Angela Lansbury.

We’ll learn plenty more in the coming weeks, but in the meantime, check out the first Game of Thrones Season 7 production tease below.
