Plant In Boise Closing, 165 Employees Laid Off

Post Holdings has announced they are closing their plant on Eisenman Road in Boise this summer.
The plant manufactures PowerBar products which has been in operation since 1994.
The company expects to transfer the work to third-party manufacturing plants, but will provide severance and other assistance to employees who lose their jobs as a result of the plant closure.
Post Holdings Inc. told investors that the closure will "improve efficiency, decrease costs and grow the profit contribution of the PowerBar brand."
