Power Restored To West Boise Area

One man is in custody after crashing into a power pole Monday evening near Cole Road and Cascade Street. Boise police the man crashed his car into a power pole then took off on foot. They say have located and arrested him. Idaho Power reported an outage affecting 2,700 customers from Northview to the railroad tracks and from Curtis to Cole. Power was restored within an hour.
