The Treasure Valley showed up big Saturday with another edition of 7 Cares, Idaho Shares.  The annual event raises money, food, and other resources for the Boise Rescue Mission, the Idaho Food bank, the Salvation Army, and the Jubilee House in Twin Falls. From kids to major corporations, Idahoans flocked to stores like Fred Meyer and Albertsons to donate.  Although the weather was cold, it didn't stop the spirit of giving.

7 Cares is a truly unique event involving businesses and individuals giving of their time, resources, and energy to help the needy in the Treasure Valley.  KTVB donates, not only 5 1/2 hours of air time, but the labor involved in broadcasting the day in several locations throughout the state.

7 Cares began in one location at the KTVB studios.  Last week, there were almost 40 collection points for folks to donate.  A special thanks to everyone who braved the elements to help neighbors in need.
