Eastbound commuters on I-84 will find traffic pattern changes next week.

A new traffic pattern begins this weekend on eastbound Interstate 84 between Meridian and Five Mile roads and will be in place until late December, allowing crews to rebuild the decades-old outside lanes and shoulders of I-84.

One lane of eastbound I-84 will cross over to the westbound side of the median between Meridian and Cloverdale roads. Anyone wanting to exit on Eagle Road will have to stay in the right hand lane. Those in the left hand lane will not be able to exit until the connector area.
