There's absolutely nothing like spending a summer day outdoors in the Northwest. If you're an outdoorsy person and in need of a change of scenery, you're in luck - the U.S. Forest Service just announced that they are looking to hire 1,000 new people before November 20th.

While the majority of the jobs are not in Idaho, many are in our neighboring states, Washington and Oregon, and sound well worth the drive. Most of the jobs pay between $12 and $19 per hour and include benefits like health insurance.

Jobs available include park ranger, visitor information assistant, forestry aid, maintenance worker, and forestry technician to name a few. Duty locations vary with options, but some of the locations are the best areas in all the Northwest, in places like, Bend, Olympia, and Portland.

Wanting to stay a bit closer to home? There are currently 15 Forest Service jobs available in Idaho as well! See all positions here: https://fsoutreach.gdcii.com/Outreach

The deadline for spring and summer applicants is this Monday, November 20th, so you better hurry and apply now at: https://www.usajobs.gov/
