The fight for the Confederate Flag gets physical in South Carolina.  Watch as emotions run high as one side fights to keep the flag while the other tries to take it away.  Columbia, South Carolina is the capital of South Carolina.  It's also the epicenter over the past and future of the Confederate Flag.  Sources within the state say the Legislature has the two-thirds majority needed to remove the flag from the capital grounds.  It was removed from the Capitol dome in 2000.

As you can see in the video above, there are two sides to this story.  African Americans believe the flag to be racist.  Native Southerners claim the flag as part of their heritage.  Regardless of what the politicians decide, this debate has only just begun.  The irony is that the debate over the Confederate Flag will last much longer than the Confederacy itself.
