Idaho State Police say three people were injured after a Spokane man crashed head-on into another car on Interstate 90 Monday night.
Idaho State Police say 30 year old Matthew Paris had been drinking before he drove his SUV up an off-ramp in Post Falls. He entered the westbound interstate going east at the State Highway 41 and I-90 interchange.
Paris crashed into a car driven by Kaitlin Frantz of Athol. Both drivers were injured, as was a 6-year-old passenger in Frantz' car. All three were wearing seatbelts, and were taken to Kootenai Medical Center. Paris was arrested and has been charged with DUI, driving without privileges, injury to a child, and possession of a concealed firearm while under the influence.
