When it comes to jobs in the Treasure Valley, there are a lot of options. With all of the growth going on in the area, more and more businesses are opening up offering new, great opportunities for residents of Boise, Meridian, Nampa, Caldwell and other surrounding cities.
What about our teens, however, who are in school and planning their futures? Sure, there are a lot of amazing jobs here for them. Many will want to move on to jobs outside of Idaho and when it comes to moving away for work--we all hope it's worth it.
Idaho teenagers are being offered a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that could set them up to be skilled, professional public servants!
Is your little boy or little girl interested in being an FBI agent? Well, the FBI is hoping so.
Here in Idaho, the FBI is actively recruiting high school students interesting in being a part of their "Teen Academy". The academy, which is virtual this year, teaches teens about the threats most pressing to our nation, such as domestic terrorism, cyber crimes, and civil rights.
For the second year, this is being held online because of COVID-19.
While Idaho teenager will be able to learn lots about the agency, the ultimate goal is to expose them to the many job opportunities that are available in hopes that after college, these students will want to serve our nation.
