The world is a pretty wild place as we know it and there will always be people up to no good. Recently, Boise police put out an alert about an unidentified individual lurking in the shadows of the night and looking for an opening in your home.

Beware of the Boise Night Prowler

Boise police recently shared news about trouble brewing in "one downtown neighborhood." The trouble they're referring to involves individuals creeping on unsuspecting victims in their homes.

One suspect even went into a victim's home and "touched" them before he was eventually arrested.

"One incident that many neighbors in the area were aware of happened on back on September 22nd on Lincoln Ave," Boise police said in a social media post.

"Tre Gooding, was charged with misdemeanor battery and unlawful entry. He was arrested following a report involving a suspect entering a female’s bedroom and touching her."

Despite Boise police apprehending this suspect, they say another is creeping around the same downtown area. What in the world is going on in downtown Boise?

"On October 2, 2024, around 12:15 am officers responded to a report of a prowler on the 1400 block of S. Manitou where an unknown suspect was reported to be on the property and looking in windows," Boise police said, "As police were patrolling the neighborhood looking for the suspect, another report came in around 12:45 am on the 1200 block of Lincoln Ave."

Apparently, that report at 12:45 am at Lincoln Avenue involved a suspect approaching the rear door of someone's house before being scared away by an alarm system.

Police are asking the public to help identify the individual or individuals in the surveillance photos so they can bring them in for questioning. Check out the photos and information below and call Ada County Dispatch at 208-377-6790 if you have any information.
