Thanksgiving is right around the corner — are you staying at home or getting away for a few days?

It’s actually very common for people to travel during the holidays, whether that means hitting up their favorite ski resorts, traveling with their family to new places, or just traveling to other family member’s homes.

So where are the best places to be in Idaho for the holidays?

There’s a recent article from Tripping.com that shares the best getaway cities in Idaho and we’re featuring the Top 5 👇

In their article they say, “Enjoy a cozy Thanksgiving in Idaho this year. Thanks to the state’s strong family-friendly culture, kids are always welcome at holiday events and celebrations. From the glistening lakes and snowy mountains of Coeur d’Alene to the breathtaking river canyons in Twin Falls, Idaho offers some of the most beautiful natural scenery in the western United States. Most vacation rentals in Idaho grant you quick access to fun turkey trots and Thanksgiving festivities, so you can get the holiday season off to a great start.”

I was pleasantly surprised to see that 2 of our Treasure Valley cities made the list, of course one of them being Boise. Tripping.com says, “The end-of-year holidays get into full swing in Boise over Thanksgiving, creating endless opportunities for family fun.” There are always so many fun, family-friendly things to do in and around Boise, even during the holidays.
