More Options Between Twin Falls And Salt Lake City

It’s a discussion just about every Twin Falls–area traveler has when they’re getting ready for a trip. If you want to travel from Twin Falls to almost any domestic location and beyond, you'll have to go through Salt Lake City. So the question becomes: Do I drive to Utah, do I drive to Boise and fly to Salt Lake, or do I fly directly out of Twin?

Twin Falls Airport Adding A Third Daily Flight To Salt Lake

Starting March 8, 2026, that decision might get a bit easier. Magic Valley Regional Airport has announced that Delta Connection, operated by SkyWest Airlines, will increase service between Twin Falls and Salt Lake City to three daily flights.

All three trips will be on Delta’s 50-seat CRJ550. It's a smaller jet but still offers first class, Comfort, and Main cabin seating. The added flight means you can grab an early morning flight to make connections, a midday option, or a later afternoon departure.

Here is how the new schedule looks, beginning March 8, 2026, according to the airport’s announcement:

Twin Falls to Salt Lake City

  • 6:16 a.m. to 7:15 a.m.
  • 11:47 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
  • 3:26 p.m. to 4:25 p.m.

Salt Lake City to Twin Falls

  • 9:45 a.m. to 10:52 a.m.
  • 1:40 p.m. to 2:34 p.m.
  • 9:20 p.m. to 10:15 p.m.

Twin Falls Mayor Ruth Pierce called the move a 'major win' for the area, saying the expanded Salt Lake schedule gives business and leisure travelers more flexibility and strengthens the Magic Valley’s connection to Delta’s larger network worldwide.

From One Flight A Day Back To Three

If you have been flying out of Twin Falls for a while, this announcement feels like a full-circle moment. In the fall of 2021, the airport had to scale back service and drop to just one daily round trip between Twin Falls and Salt Lake City. At the time, the city said the cut was due to low passenger numbers and a general lull in air travel.

Going from a single flight in 2021 back to three daily flights in 2026 suggests how much demand has bounced back.

Breeze Airways Brings Vegas And Orange County Into The Mix

The additional Delta flight is not the only change coming to the Twin Falls airport next spring. It lines up almost perfectly with new service from Breeze Airways, which will begin flying out of Twin Falls on March 6, 2026.

Breeze will offer nonstop flights from Twin to Vegas and a one-stop no change of plane 'BreezeThru' flight from Twin Falls to Orange County. Your flight will stop in Vegas, but you'll stay on the aircraft during a brief layover before completing the final leg to Orange County.

Pair that with three daily Delta trips to Salt Lake City, and by early March 2026, Twin Falls travelers will have more options than they have seen in years.
