When Lacy Quintero first discovered New Beauty magazine's FabOver40 competition, she was intrigued. But it was her family's battle with breast cancer, she says, that inspired her to support the cause.

Quintero is the loving niece of three fighters whose lives were disrupted and forever changed by breast cancer. And no two stories are the same. Today, one woman is in remission, one woman is undergoing treatment, and one woman is no longer with us.

Quintero's Aunt Rosa tragically lost her battle with breast cancer in 2010. For Quintero and her family, the pain of losing Rosa resonates as deeply today as it did 12 years ago. This is why Quintero fights. She fights for the women of her family and your family. She fights to help the National Breast Cancer Foundation find a cure.

The champion of FabOver40 will receive a two-page feature in New Beauty magazine along with a $40,000 cash prize, and a tax-deductible donation supporting early detection, education, and support services to women affected by breast cancer.
