Major NFL Star To Host Golf Tournament In Idaho This Summer

Boise State has been pushing out tons of NFL players recently. Just last weekend we watched Kage Casey get drafted to the Denver Broncos in the 2026 NFL Draft. Not to mention a few of other Broncos were signed as undrafted free agents across the league including tight end, Matt Lauter, who is joining Ashton Jeanty in Las Vegas.

Khalil Shakir, A Boise State Legend

Khalil Shakir is a legendary Boise State wide receiver who was drafted to the NFL by the Buffalo Bills. Khalil Shakir who was once a wide receiver for Boise State was a star on the Buffalo Bills this past season. Bills Mafia has grown to be a fan of Khalil Shakir and as cool as it is to see him in New York with the Bills he will always be a Boise State Bronco.

Khalil Shakir Back In Boise

It's no surprise that Khalil Shakir comes back to Boise often. It's always awesome to see him back in our city and just last year he was hanging out in Downtown Boise watching the Super Bowl with his old Bronco teammates.

Khalil Shakir Golf Tournament

Now, Khalil Shakir is coming back to the Treasure Valley but this time it's for something a little different. He is going to be hosting the Shakir Family Foundation Tournament in Caldwell! It is the Shakir Family Foundation’s largest fundraiser and it's happening here in Idaho. It takes place on June 6 at the TimberStone Golf Course in Caldwell, Idaho.

It took place last year and now he's back again!
