It's finally December and the weather has clearly started dropping and it’s clear that winter is on its way. As it gets colder sometimes everyone thinks the best thing to do is to just look forward to spring and summer and start thinking about all of the summer plans that are to be made. Although looking forward to summer is good sometimes you have to remember one of the best parts about living in Idaho is being able to enjoy all four seasons and what they have to offer.

All of the highly loved winter attractions are either opened for the season and are opening soon including Gateway parks in Eagle.Gateway Parks Tubing in Eagle and Idaho Falls is one of the most loved winter attractions in the state and it’s perfect for anyone of any age. You can bring your family, friends, or partner, and guarantee you will have the best time no matter what.

But if you're not quite ready to venture out into the snow yet (even if it man made) then the next best thing is ice skating! Whether you're in need of a date night with your partner, a girls night out, some family fun time, or even bored alone, ice skating in the winter is always the answer .

Glide on the Grove is officially open for the winter season and locals are making their way to downtown Boise in order to enjoy the fun activity. Glide on the Grove is open now for the whole community to take part in and the best part is: it's completely free!

Make sure to get your ice skating time in before January 1.
