Ahmed Hassanein, Boise State Defensive Lineman, was selected 196 overall by the Detroit Lions.
He is the first Egyptian player to ever be drafted to the NFL and is making history for doing so. He also had an extremely memorable NFL draft all starting at the NFL Combine after he was spotted barking back at the coaches. Then when he was drafted just moments later he got down on one knee and proposed to his girl friend. Fans are already falling in love with him.
It is expected for him to sign a contract worth a little over 4 million in just his rookie year alone which is extremely impressive. Seeing as he is now moving onto the NFL it will definitely be amazing watching another Boise State Player make waves other than Ashton Jeanty.
