They’re Back! Popular Boise Board Game Bar Is Officially Reopened

Boise’s local businesses could be talked about nationwide as some of the best local businesses in the whole country! There aren’t too many places where on almost every corner there’s a local business with overwhelming support from the Boise community. That's one of the best parts about living in Boise, the community all coming together to support other local businesses!

Everyone's always on the hunt for their new favorite local location. Now there's a new one in town that's exciting everyone. It's called Chits and Chats and it's a brand new Board Game Pub/Bar/Cafe!

If you've never been to a Board Game Pub/Bar/Cafe you're in for a treat! This place is so cool and the best activity for weeknights, weekends, or pretty much anytime you're needing something fun to do!

Their board game library is FULL of different boardgames with everything from Uno to complicated board games you may have never even heard of before.

Chits and Chats had previously been open in 2025 but unfortunately had to close temporarily. Now they're BACK! Chits and Chats officially opened as of January 2026 and this time it's for good! There's no better excuse for getting the family or your friends together than telling them to join you at Chits and hCats.

They have a ton of locally owned drinks and their homey food menu is just as exciting with a ton of different options to choose from!  You can go rent out your favorite board game, or try a new one, and make memories at this awesome new spot.
