Event season here in the Treasure Valley is really ramping up, if you haven't noticed. It seems that here in the Treasure Valley, as soon as the sun starts making its appearances and the temps raise even in the slightest--everyone is eager to get out.

Luck for us, lately, there has been no shortage of events.

Whether you're wanting political rallies, concerts, festivals or comedy shows--there has certainly been something for everyone over the last several weeks.

Just this weekend? One of the biggest names in comedy but frankly, one of the biggest names in all of entertainment, made a stop in Boise at Idaho Central Arena. Kevin Hart was in town for his standup tour titles 'Acting My Age'.

The event was a near sellout. Hart's stops elsewhere in America have been in much, much larger venues. His stop in Boise was not only smaller than most--but it was in the smallest of our three arenas. Even the nosebleeds offered a great view of Kevin & his pals during the comedy show.

As he wrapped up his jokes in front of a loud and fun crowd--he stopped down to show Boise some major love:

Boise! I love it here, I really do. I've been touring through Boise for years and I keep coming back because you people are so great

Kind words about the place that we call home, especially from major celebrities, always seem to make us blush.

Comedians of his caliber rarely make Boise stops--it's awesome that Kevin Hart noticed how great Boise is and continues to make us a part of his major tours.

Incase we needed a reminder, Boise--yes--we really are 'special' and even Kevin Hart agrees!
