Viral Video Displays The Major Boise Differences From The 1980s

Boise is one of the best places in the whole country to live. There has been countless official sources that have said this and we are not even the slightest bit surprised. The amount of people who have been moving to Boise has been quite crazy but it is so cool to see how many people love our city.

A new video just took the internet by storm showing what Boise looked like in the 1940s. The old 1945 videos resurfaced on TikTok and has people who have both lived here forever and people who are new reminiscing on what our city used to look like. While a lot has changed in Boise and a lot of it is really new and exciting taking a look back on what our city used to look like is just as special.

Now even more old footage of Boise is surfaced online but this one is from 1988. This video compares the construction from Boise now to the construction that was happening in the 1980's.

While construction in Downtown Boise is a lot right now it's nothing compared to what happened in the 1980s. Boise is definitely growing exponentially now but back then so many people were making the move and they had to make the city big enough to accommodate all of them. It was definitely a lot more back then so if you're driving around the city thinking that the construction is a lot just imagine how bad it was driving around in the 80s!
