Was Boise State’s Win Saved by This Controversial Call? [Video]
It's all the hype and all of the talk in the Treasure Valley: Boise State football. It doesn't matter if you're a football fan or not--the hype is real and people are loving that Boise State is winning and returning to the national stage.
There is still a lot of season left to play for Boise State but if this team can manage to win the rest of their remaining games, there are huge things on the horizon for the post-season.
Just this past weekend, Boise State played its second to last home game of the year against a familiar foe--University of Nevada. The Wolf Pack have knocked off Boise State before but aren't having a great season this year. The 'kicker', no pun intended? Nevada's head coach has strong Boise State ties.
Jeff Choate helped coach with Chris Petersen the year that Boise State won the big Fiesta Bowl!
Back on the blue, Choate had his team ready to win and they almost pulled it off.
Down just one touchdown with more than enough time in the 4th quarter, Nevada intercepted the ball on a big Boise State drive that would have put them up two scores.
Nevada is still talking about that interception--because the officials overturned their call.
Here's a break down of the play that Boise State was thankful to see overturned on Saturday against the University of Nevada

Do you think this call should have been overturned?
Boise State was lucky to hang onto the ball and the overturned call allowed them to go 2-scores up on Nevada with far less time on the clock.
