Naked Woman With Knife Rampaging Downtown Boise Streets

There's a lot of craziness in this world and for the most part, we sit back in our comfy cozy beautiful Treasure Valley and just kind of chuckle at these things that take place in other areas of the country.  Well, today we are that other place in the country.

According to KTVB, this morning just before 1 o'clock a naked woman with a knife was walking around 13th and Myrtle Street in downtown Boise.  The details of why she was there and what she was doing is anyone's guess at this point.

When the Boise Police Department showed up, the woman not only refused to give up her weapon, she threatened officers with it.  After every attempt to calmly subdue the woman, officers finally tased her, bringing her down and taking her into custody.  She was medically examined after being tased and is physically fine.  It's the mental part that I'm wondering about.

Her identity and information regarding the details of this crazy situation will be released by investigators at the proper time.  We'll keep you posted.
