We've barely broken out the jack-o-lanterns and scarecrows, but retailers are already getting ready for holiday shopping season!

Shopping on Thanksgiving Day is one of the most polarizing topics in the country when it comes grabbing gifts to put under the tree.  Personally, I've never done it and never will.  After filling my belly with so much turkey and stuffing that I can barely move, the last thing I want to do is go stand in a (potentially chilly) line outside some store.

According to BestBlackFriday.com's latest survey about Thanksgiving Day sales, I'm not alone.  Based on their research, 28.99% of Americans strongly dislike Thanksgiving Day Openings.  In fact, some states like Massachusetts and Rhode Island have made it illegal for stores to be open on Thanksgiving Day unless they are a gas station, small grocer or restaurants.

...but, if you must go shop on Thanksgiving Day cross these retailers off your list as they will be CLOSED on Turkey Day.
