We had a young lady at Miller's Mission come up to me and say that we really really really need to do a story on the the uh the serving wage. And I think the serving wage is $4 and it's been that way forever and she has a daughter. This lady does, you know, incredible amount of work and the wages just aren't there. Well, welcome. And I don't mean to be insensitive because uh I guess we'll talk about workers rights here in a minute, but uh welcome to Idaho. And Idaho, they pay you in sunshine, unicorns, and rainbows. Well, what do you mean by that, Kevin Miller? Well, [clears throat] with respect to liberal Steve years and years ago and this and again I promise not to have my fragile train of thought where I start the story and then you go where is he going? Where is this guy going? Okay, it's nothing nothing that way. So years and years ago my dream in life among many dreams was to work in Nashville, Tennessee. And uh the people that the company I worked for, they liked me and I got used to people liking me that I worked with and worked for. Oh, how times have changed. Well, anyway, I um I got the call to go up to Nashville and they were going to pay me about the same they were paying me in Birmingham. Well, in Birmingham, I'd been through the wars. I'd been through this. We had our team and I said, "Yeah, but you're not going to pay me." And they said, "Look, first of all, you're going to be living in one of America's best cities. This city is not going to be the same in 20 or 30 years. You're going to grow with this city." And they were right. And they said, "Plus, you're around all these creative class people. You're going to be great. That's how we're going to pay you in sunshine, unicorns, and country music." And then, you know, you go to a place and you get hooked on it like Don Nelson did, and you take a look at the the the pros and the cons. you have your list and you think to yourself, well, I if I move, even if they're going to pay me more, the taxes might be higher. You know, Oregon talking about raising taxes. Uh Washington has instituted an income tax on rich people, but everybody, you know, with inflation, everybody's going to be a millionaire soon. And you take a look at it and after a while you go, well, I have my doctors here. I have this here. And you stay. And so therefore, you get the home, you give them the hometown discount, right? And there's a that is what goes on here in Idaho. People get used to it and we have people that work very very hard. Whether it's our friend Greg Ferrer who's out there with his chickens or it's Dylan who's doing the Dylan business. Had a great conversation off the air with double secret probation Dylan yesterday and he's telling me these things. He goes, "Well, why aren't you excited?" And I go, "Dude, I'm just coming off the mission, man." And you know, it's it's again, that's why I have so much respect for nonprofit people because they do it all the time. me. I'm a [ __ ] I'm a squishy mushy potato. Not even a rusted potato. But you know, you you take a look at what you do, what you have, and you think to yourself, well, I'll just do more with less. And so Idaho, unless you're involved in one of these big projects or you're working for a great employer, maybe Chabati, maybe the Micron project, which is insane, we're going to get to them in a minute. um or anything else, you're um you're kind of stuck. And therefore, that leads me to something that happened outside the building. Now, again, we're very transparent. I'm here at uh the broadcast center in Star um due to some concerns in my own personal life. And uh there's, you know, the doctors have checked me out. It's great, but just again, I I'm here uh I guess I'm protecting myself from the staff, not Bo and Sweet William, but whatever. So primarily I'm here but outside and I've told you before the statesmen they live with us. There are sweetitemates. They're in the same building. One time they had this enormous enormous facility that's now a boutique storage unit which has to break the heart of those people that whether you agree with them or not they're very good. They're very talented people. Would they ever say the same say the same about us? I doubt it. But it's fascinating. They've covered the rise and fall of the demise of a lot of people. And you have these folks that have uh gone outside our building and we had people taking pictures of them and the like and I wish I could have been there to actually cover and invite them to come on the air. So what is it? The Mlache group that owns them. They're and four of the Washington newspapers. They walked out of the newsroom. Now I'm sure they're they're back at the newsroom cuz I got their little app alerts the other day or the their email alert. So, they have the bright red t-shirts and they're talking about, you know, their godless corporation, uh, making them work 20% more and giving them no raises. In [snorts] fact, probably you take a look and if you talk to an employment lawyer, which I have several times. I've employed many employment lawyers. Hasn't really helped me with my employment. So, before you go to an employment lawyer or a lawyer, you can just come to me for free and I'll tell you, well, this could happen, that could happen. you could look this up and it'll cost you this much to go to a lawyer and I'll save you thousands of dollars at 580 K IO. So the point being that they're very concerned because the statesman allegedly has them doing a bunch of stuff with AI and you know what that means? They're going to be replaced. In fact, you take a look at, you know, godless or semi-godless corporations, they're always looking to squeeze the profit. And you take a look at, you know, 10 years from now, 20 years from now, are we going to have people, you know, are Ubers and everything else going to be non-existent because we can pay an android to do it? Now, the only problem that I have with people who buy cars that drive them is what happened with Whammo. Whammo, you know, runs over things, not all the time, and there have been cases they've been litigated against Whamo and Tesla and everything else because I've always had computers that don't work. As you can tell by listening to this show, there's a lot of buffering. But anyway, the workers go out there and they are mad as heck. And it used to be that people in the media, this was a destination town. But now this town has become a transient town. I write about that my my look at Don Nelson's career where the reporters are younger, the Yankers are younger. They talk about I love it. I live here and 20 minutes later they're on their the first train to Tacoma or Phoenix or Seattle. A lot of them go to Seattle. It's a feeder system for Seattle. But my heart felt for these people and I think we can all relate to this where one of the reporters um who has been there for 5 years. I don't think she hasn't had a raise but her the rent in her apartment has gone up 30%. And you know what do you do? Do you know those were careers and should be careers where that's all they do is they write a really great article. There are again I don't agree with the editorial page of the statesman but I do agree with some of the reporting is insanely great at this level or at any level. and they've lost a lot of great reporters to ProPublica or Investigate West, uh, the Idaho Capital Sun, Idaho Education News, and really they've switched to a nonprofit model. But so again, we're seeing people out there protesting and the media covered and stuff. And, you know, some of the great work that's being done is by the Boyisey Dev. And this was by a gentleman who was beloved at Channel 7 and decided to create his own thing and did did the bootstrapping thing. I mean, he makes he has such a great system and whether I agree with Mr. Day or not, you have to acknowledge it that he has everybody. He's like uh the scourge of all the news people because he's scooping everybody and then he hires people and he's got a whole system. It works very well. That more likely is the future of the business. these niche mar uh marginal not marginal these niche markets uh like the boy dev or even you know I'm amazed at them the Idaho business journal that continues to turn out a great quality product and you think to yourself well you know bigger is always better uh look I I used to feel bad about the broadcast center when I got here uh hopefully August 23rd but who's counting um I've got they've got the overunder on me at the office but uh you know that'll be 17 years here which isn't a lot of time, but we had two floors. We had this, we had that. Now we have like one, you could pretty much cut our thing in half because you have to be leaner and you have machines that allow you to do more work. I'm not backing the machines. I think the people, the statesmen should make a ton of money. Now, I've also bought the paper recently and you know, it's a lot of national stuff. It's a lot of this. What do you really need to publish a paper anymore? I know that's hairsay uh 5 years ago, but many people are going to that model. But uh again, the idea of a right to work state and even other states where they have legacy costs, they're looking and and retooling. So we're seeing this right in our front door where we're, you know, having people out and they're mad, they're protesting and all sorts of things. So that's probably the the buzzworthy story. I mean, Don Nelson's final newscast will be what is it? Uh Sweet William Thursday on Channel 6. And as I said before at 5805436 580 K IO they don't build uh uh soundly and I and I hope that I'm wrong. Uh you know people are saying hey Kevin Miller you know what about your future. But you know you take a look at the future of where things are going. And I told you about my friends in Birmingham. I mean Birmingham is a big market. They have a big sports thing. I think they're the one of the TV news stations. They're going to be doing it out of Atlanta. And I would hate because I'm such a a homer. I said Homer, double secret probation, Dylan. I didn't say anything else. I'm such a homer for local news and the product and the goodness that they can do. I hope that that's not the case where they have regional centers. And we see that again with Boise uh Boise doing Twin Falls's news. I don't really care about Twinfalls. Twinf Falls is very nice and they have a great talk show host named Bill Collie and they have a wonderful station there, the Clicks, that is owned by our company and I think they they deserve their own local stuff. So anyway, where did that go? Um, back to Micron. We'll talk more about that, but um also uh should facial hair matter if you're running for office? Apparently, in one of the state's biggest uh economies, not this state, but one of the biggest economies in the country, I bet you can guess the land. Uh Donald Trump proving that he is running the Republican party. Now we are going to see whether or not this guy in Texas, the lib they're calling Betto Betto Betto part two will in fact uh you know beat uh you know Ken Paxton. We'll see what happens. But as they determined last night, here we have um on the Thunderdome show on CNN, Mark Short, who used to work for Mike Pence, who now is a big analyst for NBC and CNN, talking about just how much of a control Donald Trump has on the Republican party. Just a few weeks ago that Trump was on the precipice of endorsing John Cornin. So when you throw out the fact that he's not loyal. The reality is that he was he was basically prepared to endorse Cornin, uh there's no doubt that he has full grip on the Republican party. I think you've seen that again in Indiana. You've seen that in Kentucky. You've seen that in Louisiana. In this case though, I think he had clear evidence that Paxton was going to win this race, which is why he made he just kind of jumped on the horse. He got in front of the parade as fast as fast as he could. I mean, again, if it if this was about being loyal or not, then he wouldn't have been prepared to endorse corners just a few weeks ago. Yeah, there we have it. Uh 5805436580 KO. Uh that is uh uh something else. So, the president taking down John Cornin. And here's another one, you know, and people are saying that they're going to there's going to be a rebellion against the president. We'll talk a little bit about that. But whatever happened to the Save Act? Whatever happened to the Save Act, everybody? Um, you know, where where is the SAVE Act? Uh, you know, that was supposed to save us during this next upcoming election. And, you know, once the primaries are over, are you going to have people saying, you know, um, we don't really have to listen to the president anymore. Anyway, Ken Paxton, who has had a bunch of scandals, who has had a bunch of uh issues, is now being labeled the most corrupt politician in America. Is this the campaign you wanted? Terrio versus Paxton. Is this the opponent you wanted out of this Republican primary? Well, Kim Paxton embodies the broken political system that we're running against. He is the most corrupt politician in America. [clears throat] Three years ago tomorrow, he was impeached by his own party for using his public office, his position of public trust to enrich himself and his donors at our expense. And that is exactly the problem in our politics. It's puppet politicians who serve themselves and their billionaire mega donors instead of serving us. It's why we can't afford anything. It's why we can't get ahead no matter how hard we work. The system is rigged by corrupt politicians like Ken Paxton. And so it's going to be all of us. It's going to be Democrats, independents, and Republicans. It's going to be urban Texans, rural Texans, suburban Texans. It's going to be all of us coming together, the people versus Ken Paxton. Yeah. Does he sound familiar? Reminds me I think he's what 38. Reminds me of Barack Obama. How'd that work out for us? Did Obama bring us together? H I don't know about that. I I I you got to wonder about that. So, the president, by the way, is uh undefeated with endorsements in GOP primaries. Now, again, the tough road to hoe. We're going to see we're going to see what happens. Including uh our own Sean Hannity had this to say concerning Mr. Terrico. Now, Kim Paxton, as she mentioned, will face off against radical liberal James Telerico. I thought Jasmine Crockett was liberal. This is the guy that claimed that there are six different biological sexes. Maybe you can play a game at home. Turn it into a drinking game and see if you can come up with all six. Good luck, cuz I can't. What? Spin the dial. He also advocated for abortion care for transgender people, accused white people of spreading racism everywhere they go, and claimed that God is non-binary, uh, and said that he wanted to put a a giant welcome mat on our southern border in Texas. Oh, by the way, he doesn't eat meat either. Now, this list, you know, all of his crazy beliefs goes on and on. Uh, can you really trust anybody that's not a meat eater? Did not like how John Cornin decided uh to kind of slowwalk the president. Now, in defense of Cornin, uh he wasn't as bad as Kennedy. Wasn't as bad as others. Certainly wasn't as bad as Thomas Massie, but he decided uh the president decided to take somebody out. the the challenge here with the and and and look to show you how politics is different in another state than our state in our state. And I can hear Lee Joe in my ear. Well, the rhinocracy, Kevin Miller, and the rhinocracy does this and the rhinocracy does that. And then, you know, we're going to throw in the trade group and we're going to do this. In other states, you have, you know, the conservatives, you have the establishment, you have a more competitive race, and you have a ton of money that is spent. Cornin and his pack group that supported him spent over $9 million, I'm sorry, $90 million. $90 million. And they couldn't win the primary. And if you're an incumbent and you're going into a runoff, usually you don't pop more than the runoff. Now, I think he got 46% of the vote. This time around, it was not good for him. It was 36%. And Ken Paxton came in and and beat him. But if you have the money, if you have the effort, if you have all that and you can't beat an underfunded opponent, then really what is the grassroots? And you know, maybe we're seeing as we've seen in Idaho, but in Idaho, it doesn't matter because the Democratic party doesn't exist. Uh they try, but they don't exist. That we see in Idaho, um you know, the primary is the general election. And you can go back to the Guthrie race and Kevin, why is that important? That's in Eastern Idaho. Because you've had so many conservatives, conservatives that hate each other and that are fighting online all the time. They were united that Senator Guthrie had to go. And Senator Guthrie had a ton of money. He had a lot of endorsements. And with the endorsements of those state office holders, with the endorsement of those state office holders, you know what that means? that they had the group, they had the organization because as the attorney general told us yesterday, none of them were challenged in a primary. None of them. Um, I guess you could say the governor with Old State Mark, but besides that, none of them were really challenged. None of them. So, that freed up more resources to help senators like Guthrie. Now, again, in Elmore County, that didn't work. But in Guthri's County, it did. And it's a difference. And you could argue in both cases, both were incumbents. You had Senator Zitto, an incumbent, and then you had Guthrie, an incumbent. Now, she was outspent and he wasn't. It's still the power of being an effective public servant. It's the same argument people have against Congressman Simpson. Now, again, I've observed Congressman Simpson in Washington, DC. Uh, again, I like this stuff. And I can remember Congressman Simpson and a lot of them, uh, when Congressman Labrador was there, they looked at me when I was in the gallery like I was, you know, TMZ and they just quietly went about doing their business. And to people that, you know, do their job and effectively well and keep their head down, whether you agree with them on policy or not, they tend to get reelected. I I look at Congressman Simpson and as you know, we're much closer to Congressman Fulture, but Congressman Simpson, Congressman Simpson um will uh you know, he's number three, number two on appropriations. They decide where the money is spent. Well, there shouldn't be any money spent. You're right. But if we don't spend it here, how the system works is it's going to be spent in California or Arizona or Washington State. That's just really how it works. It's a broken system. Thus, you could go back to the Convention of States AR argument, but that's another rabbit hole. And Mike Simpson does his job, and if anybody ever came after him, he's like the US military before these conflicts. He has an endless supply of of ammunition. Now, again, people may be critical of him, but the guy's a public servant. He could have retired and lived a good life, but he hasn't. Senator Ris, same thing. And it's very different than in Texas where you have Cornin who was safe until he wasn't. He got on the wrong side of the president. Now again, really what works in the state is what the Republican party says goes. That would be the people that are elected Republicans. But in Texas, it's going to be very interesting to see in a nonp President Trump general election whether or not Ken Paxton has enough appeal to win over the general election electorate. Um or I don't think that anybody's going to go for Tel Rico cuz he's too radical. But is their party primary base enough to win the general? And you've alluded to my fat-toback project for years, which I've never come through, but we we've signed on with a video team. And we're going to document this. And we're going to show you know the visceral fat and everything else and not just cosmetically but cardiovascularly V2 max maybe if you are a fan of Dr. Peteria or Adia or what however you pronounce his name it's that type of thing to try to prolong our lives or at least with some of us to try to deal with these chronic injuries that you know again my lifestyle or genetics has has caused me. Some people they say you're just unlucky but we do want to thank Dr. a while for that. And like I said, we are looking forward to doing the the before the baseline. And whenever you do a medical procedure, whether it's your your prostate or whatever, they always have a baseline. And once you have the baseline, then they can determine all sorts of things. So, uh, again, we're not done yet. We haven't gotten to the modern record, which the modern record for me is being lower than 240. and my height and my my biggest I was 367. I'm about 361 right now or 261 right now. But for those of you that are struggling with weight loss or struggling with food, uh I'm with you every step of the way. And it takes a while. Not everybody can be spelt, not everybody can be this, but you know, whether it's saying no to the pie hole or whether it's, you know, going for a walk, these little things make a load of difference. or if you're being mentally medically treated with, you know, as they call it, the shot, uh, you know, if that helps you. Not everybody has all the time in the day to, you know, do the the the physically grueling work or even just the fun stuff. So, please, uh, take care of yourself. You know, I was talking to Mrs. Miller a moment ago and she can't believe, you know, one great thing about being obese is you look a lot younger than you really are. And now I'm shrinking and all of a sudden I'm uh, you know, I'm getting wrinkles for the first time in my life. So, you know, I welcome the wrinkles as, you know, and I have limitations. I have a big mouth and a small throat according to my sleep doctor. That's just how it is. And, you [clears throat] know, people say you're shrinking. And she said, you know, I married somebody that was 6 foot. I've never been six foot in my life. But, uh, again, I the only reason why I say that is to make you kind of laugh because we need laughter, uh, so early in the morning, especially when we're dealing with starting the day, getting rolling, and that's what we do. They've got like AI doing that stuff, dude. I mean, it's crazy. I mean, you used to be a computer jockey. Hey, I'm going to just click a dip on the dashboard. And uh, hey, look at me texting. I'll text it. And you know, we don't believe in that. We We believe in good oldfashioned humans. And people now you have people saying that we're not AI. Okay, buddy. [laughter] I digress. Back to you. [snorts] Well, let's go back to your opener there. It was a little bit sounding like you were worried about traditional media. Yeah, the Statesman. It's pretty interesting to see that reduction, but [clears throat] in the radio sense, Kevin, there's going to be a resurgence in what you've been doing your whole life. and live live information from real humans is going to matter greatly because the statesmen they use AI to put their stuff together today. All of the print media uses AI. All of the podcasters, all of the everybody are are polishing with computers and you know humans are getting tired of of the AI you know influx. Everything you see is is all I don't know. It's just overproduced. And so the the live interaction is going to be where it's at. And you've been at it forever, my friend. It's uh Well, here's something. You're going to love this. Uh you could make darn sure that this computer that this isn't AI because we're very where a lot of things were not polished. I will tell you that. You know, the human isn't perfect. And computers and AI are meant to support the human, not replace them. And you can't replace live period. You can't do it. AI will never be able to interact in that form. And uh I'm excited to I don't know, hopefully find a home in radio, too, you know. Oh, maybe Dylan will could Dylan be returning to radio, everybody? You know, last week it was Cory Michaels. Corey Michaels has joined us. Um, Corey Michael is a broadcast legend in country music. He'll be joining us on Light FM. And I go, "Dude, you know, in my day, we we use a word that we can't use anymore, but uh when you would say that, I'd go, whatever." So anyway, so my man Dylan talks about chat GPT and all this. So man, my man Dylan has got me hooked on AI. So I actually uh sometimes I like to run an AI on myself, which is kind of funny because the AI only knows what you tell it. And um so yesterday uh I was we're playing with a couple of AI programs. So are you a claude person or are you still with chat GPT or you perplexity or what are you these days? I use I use claude X and chat GPT and chat and AIS are better for different functions but I I use three different ones for different things. What what's Claude X? Is that like Malcolm X? That's a computer. I got to say I've used Claude most mostly lightly in the whole token system uh a great majority of what I do in X in information situations I use X I will also take from chat GPT and then paste it in X and say I just got this from chat GPT what do you think and to see the variance it's like waking up in the morning and looking at Fox News first thing and then going over to CNN and looking at the game story with how they're going to spin it. H Well, now Claude wants to know my name. Claude, you can call me Claude already knows your name. Claude, you can call me the big bad booty daddy. Claude. [laughter] Uh, yeah. Researching which one which AIs do some things better. Some things are better for image creation. Some things are better for Why don't you do it yourself, Dylan? Quit being lazy. Do it yourself. Get learn Canva. Get in there. Get some drafting. I'm all talking about not replacing humans, but I can't afford one. So, the next best thing is AI. I see. I see. Boy, if only we had AI for politics. Uh there's a there's a there's a wonderful person who often listens to this station that has created what I believe to be will be the next thing in politics which is something that is called a closedbox AI. So basically it is only able to relate to what you feed it. And if politics was able to upload its policy and AI was only able to re relate to that specific policy, I think very soon you're going to see um AI chat bots for campaigns, AI chat box for state policy where you basically have a C3PO that's limited what to what's in the box, not what's completely outside of it. Well, I mean, now this Claude thing wants to wants to know all about me. What kind of work do you do? It's none of your business, Claude. Look, Claude, I just needed to to tell me how many monkeys are on the, you know, the carousel. This AI stuff, this is crazy. It is important depending on what your project level is. First of all, with AI, keep it just professional and do not talk about personal stuff. That's my advice. If you're very strictly talking about a project that is professional that you would talk to anybody across the boardroom table, it is wise to give it context. So it is understanding what your goals and motivations are and it can relate to you better that way. But you know uh you know telling telling them about you know cheating on your wife or husband and things like that and how to deal with it might not be the wisest. Do you know what they're doing now? They're they're actually people are getting prosecuted because they're asking AI how to kill people. And when you talk to AI, it's not protected. Like this one. Welcome Kevin Miller. I'm Claude. And then you can never fall into that trap where somebody says, "Aha, I have this email of you that said you did this." It's uh information security is at is at a heightened level. And what he said was, "Oh yeah, well, we have this, you know, the people who are in there now, the senators or whoever, they're like lame ducks. they can take off their filter. And what did he say, Kevin? So important. So important for people to understand this. He said, "You don't have to speak an ambiguous language anymore." H is that what the rhinos are? They speak an ambiguous language. Is that the tyranny of words? Yeah. Yeah, it is. It's the tyranny of words. And so consequence, how can you how can you say that when they just got rid of John Cornin in in Texas and people called him a rhino? Well, you're right. But you see here again too um I I think there is a an awakening to some degree with you know look at the people in Texas and and the people in Texas are very very uh understanding of their second amendment rights and they know what John Cornin did to uh in that safer communities act and and what was that safer communities act really what what what the what what the ATF and DOJ and everybody did is they reun understood what the statutes meant to be a gun dealer, right? And unfortunately, Mr. Malinowski ended up on the wrong end of that understanding. So, so, so, so what these senators and and congressmen do uh is they manipulate language, not just their own language, but the language in the statutes too, right? So, everything is ambiguous. Okay, this is the problem, Kevin. Okay, we need to understand. We need plain language. The citizenry needs to understand. Okay, and this is the great thing about President Trump. Okay, he is for America. We know it. Now, does President Trump deceive? Yes, he must deceive. Why? Because all war is based on deception, right? And you know, so so this is where discourse needs to come into play, right? where people can talk to each other and people can start to gain understanding. That's the whole key. Will it happen? I don't think so. I hope so. But, uh, you know, we got to get attorneys who like Ken Paxton [music] are have been indicted. I love all I love Jim Trupus. I love Chris Tupus. Okay, that the attorneys that have been indicted, [music] they're my uh the Iranians now say that uh we will end the blockade and they will restore shipping in the street of Hormuse. They just had a general on Fox News saying people are ripping the president. He said, "Well, those people are welcome to run for the presidency." So, this from the Iranians, maybe they got tired of getting things blown up. Maybe they got tired of being squeezed. But if the blockade is over and look, I am not Dave Po. I am the furthest thing from David Pzo. But you could imagine the stock market will have again another insanely incredible deal. And what is it? Now Iran wants an end to the fighting in Lebanon where the Israeli military has continued to increase their strikes against Hezbollah in recent days. But if this report stands and remember believe half of what you see and none of what you hear when we deal with the Iranians it would be that the Iranians understanding and the only reason why they would be doing this is because they understand that the pain they can't continue to absorb the pain. Vice President Vance is extremely host hopeful that Iran will agree to a deal that would prevent it from getting a nuclear weapon. Now, you know, I I I don't know. Thank you very much. Now, if you are a person that remembers the Iraq war and a lot of people are are very tough on President Bush for going to war with Iraq and they talk about weapons of mass destruction and they talk about all the lives that were maimed and lost and they would be correct. But remember Saddam Hussein or as the first Bush called him, Saddam. Saddam had a chance to peace out. And how many times did they warn little Satam? Satam, let's uh let's be a good little Satam. And Satam decided that he was going to be a bad Satam. And you take a look at the American public, the American presidency, and everything else. If the Iranians, which I believe they will, they'll go back, they just want to see what they can get away with. If they go back to playing the game, then they have to feel the pain. Uh you have the New York Times saying that we haven't uh you know, our military that has done has exceeded any type of of expectation. And you would think that the the media and the, you know, this kid, Adam, whatever his name is, the YouTube guy that's YouTube famous, you know, they just make these overwhelming uh generalizations. Well, we didn't do anything. We we saved the world for a little while. And the fact that we didn't blow up any civilian infrastructure, there were no hospitals that were damaged, there was nothing else. And yes, we're sorry about the the the school with the girls. And I don't mean to be insensitive, but uh you know, that was the only uh-oh civilian casualty. And the fact that you had people circulating petitions to charge President Trump with war crimes that if he went further in Iran is just ridiculous. Remember, let you know, Google this. You know, uh, last night they're talking about this gigantic slush fund. Anybody who's been involved in litigation, nobody wants to be involved in litigation. I I don't know what happened. I always worry about the L-word and double secret probation Dylan and Tea Party Bob uh that have worked with me for a long time understand liability and they understand uh Tea Party Bob had one of the most powerful politicians threaten to sue in Idaho threatened to sue him. Uh Tea Party Bob responded, "Go ahead. I can't wait to see you in discovery." That ended that lawsuit. But even, you know, and you talk to lawyers, they don't have to be right. They can just tie you up with litigation. and what was done to this president, what was done to President Trump. Again, you talk about a coup. You talk about, you know, the idea and I don't really know is it Shakespearean, you know, that here you have a man that New York was out to get him, Georgia was out to get him, the government was out to get him. Heck, New York the the government actually they they redid the statute that was expired just to get him. and you're thinking to yourself, if you've ever been wronged in the legal system, let's say accused of a crime you didn't commit. Let's say uh you were a victim of frivolous litigation. There's a lot of anger there. Maybe you've lost something. Maybe you lost your business or lost your livelihood through no fault of your own. And I do agree with the president. He could have probably sued and recouped things. Now, on the other hand, are is he in the Trump group making a ton of money? Sure. I think it shows strength, said a man named Charlie, who had driven 90 minutes to a gun store to see Biano. Not to be outgrown, Biano's GOP rival, Steve Hilton, sprouted a salt and pepper beard that has his supporters gushing. Donald Trump Jr., hailed it as the mega beard. Uh, Biano and his backers aren't impressed. They question Hilton's motives for growing the beard and say it all it does is expose his follicle deficiencies in comparison to Biano's lush upper lip. So again, and you notice some of our politicians, Mandami, JD Vance, Ted Cruz has the beard. Uh, and then you have uh some of these other people and remember in the 1900s all these men with their handlebar mustaches and stuff. So, it's funny that that is the big news coming out of California. I mean, really, does it really matter whether or not you have whiskers or what have you? But there is more and more facial hair uh as we move along. Uh, our top story coming up right now. Uh, is there a deal with the Iranians? Is there a deal where the street of Hormuz will be opened? number one. And number two, they will get rid of the mines. And if that happens, oh, Nelly. And I'll tell you why it's a good thing. But first, uh, John Bolton, who is not a fan of the president, who wrote a couple of books and is being prosecuted by the president for allegedly revealing public secrets, had this to say on CNN. National security adviser to President Trump during the first term. Ambassador, are you feeling optimistic about this memorandum given that we've seen negotiations break down before when it comes to the finer points of Iran's nuclear program? Well, I hope the negotiations break down because every day that goes by is a gift to Iran. Uh it gives them 24 more hours to recover from the pummeling they took during the 6 weeks of USIsraeli attack. uh it gives them time to try and reconstitute their government which increasingly looks dysfunctional in decision-making capability. Uh and it it postpones the day of reckoning ultimately uh when the threat that they pose to the to control over the straight of Hormuz is resolved in a way that they never come back and do it again. I I think the ceasefire was a mistake. I think these negotiations are mistake. I think we're on the verge of something that ultimately history will decide was a catastrophic loss for the United States. We have we have done significant damage to the Islamic Republic of Iran. Uh and right now we're letting them undo the damage and that that is a real tragedy not just for us but for the people in the region too. So, you think even if a deal is reached and um Iran commits to some of these sticking points that the US wants, like moving all the enriched uranium out, that that would still be a failure. Well, the the it it's very hard to know what the terms they're discussing are since they change day by day, but but it see And there we have have it. 5805436580 KO. But well, I'll say this. The best um Senate campaign committee chair the Democrats have had the last 10 years has been Donald Trump, right? You know, they got the Senate in 2020 because of Donald Trump and how he mismanaged the runoffs and and handed in the Senate. They held the Senate in 2022 because of Donald Trump and his um eye for talent and people that he decides to endorse. Um and it looks like now he's trying to take what is a Republican majority and make it as vulnerable as a a really tough year for in general and he's but he's now making it harder. This is going to be Paxton being the nominee is going to cost somebody money. Is it Michael Watley in North Carolina money? Is it going to cost um John Houston money in Ohio? Is it going to basically do they pull their their targeting of New Hampshire? I mean the amount of money they're going to have to unload on Terico because this committee does not want to run a single ad promoting Ken Paxton. They haven't done it yet. But they're going to drop the anvil on Costa Rica, right? He's gonna find he's gonna find out what carnivores are. There is there is going to [laughter] be it is gonna and and and it may work. I'm with David. There may be just Democrats just may have a numbers problem at the end of the day in Texas where they we know they can get to 48 because Betto Aor got to 48. I don't know if they can get to 50% plus one and we're and we're going to find out. But Donald Trump has put the Democrats in the game. And more importantly, it then means, hey, you know, they're targeting Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa, Alaska. None of these are easy states, but they're much cheaper than Texas. And Democrats can sort of Texas is a luxury. It is no longer a luxury for Republicans. And it's that costliness that actually could help Democrats win the Senate in other states. And there we have it. 5805436580 KO. Now, North Carolina is going to be interesting. You have Roy Cooper, a politician who has never lost a race. The popular governor going for Senate. Uh what is it? U Tom Tillis. I'm fascinated by that name. Tal Rico, but Tom Tillis is retiring because he didn't want to face the wrath of Trump. So there we have a a tossup there. Roy Cooper, I've known him for many, many years. Covered him when he was the attorney general. A very likable blue dog Democrat. Is he woke? We'll find out. North Carolina would be a great seat to keep. Also, again, you go back to Texas. These people don't like Ken Paxton. Will the president come in? He's got $300 million, but you could go through that in just a month in Texas. Why is this important? Again, because not all states are Idaho. Not all states have a Republican majority so big and so bad that they fight amongst each other. Uh, and again, we lose the House, we lose the Senate. It's a very difficult two years of the the Trump reign is over. And then you have to take a look at what about JD Vance, what about Marco Rubio, Pete Hegsth, how many members of the cabinet are going to piece out and run for the big ring. Shawn Duffy, another dark dark horse to think about. And you never know who or what is going to to come of this. But if you take a look at the Democrats having the House, they can impeach him. The Senate, if they have the Senate, they can convict him. So that's why it's so very important. We'll see. But again, we go back to the grand disruptor, President Trump. He's disrupted everything. Has it worked out for him all the time? No. But has it worked out for him majority of the time? I would say yes. So, that is one. Two is we'll continue to take a look at this deal with the Iranians. It looks like the Persian Gulf could be opened up. Uh we're going to release our blockade and then the Iranians are saying they're going to release their mines. No, I I and you know, oil is going down again and again and again. Yeah. But watch how long it takes. Like I think some of your callers also notice and have said in the past when we've talked about the oil and gas prices, how how fast it goes up when an Iran or excuse me, a Middle Eastern Saudi uh has a hemorrhoid uh he gets sick or whatever the oil prices shoot up. Now I'm getting I'm being facitious here. They shoot up that same day and watch how slow it takes for it to come down. The barrel price could drop in half, Kevin, and I guarantee you it will be weeks and weeks and weeks before you start seeing much of any relief other than two cents here, 3 cents there at the pump. Watch how slow it comes down. Meanwhile, the oil companies are going to reap tons and tons of profit. That is something that should be investigated by the corrupt Senate and the House. But they won't investigate that because I really wonder other than the insurance companies, the uh deep state, the oil companies, what really controls our country along with the intelligence agencies like the CIA, you know, and I'm going to jump real quick here. Tulsi Gabbard, I think I know her husband supposedly has cancer. That might be one reason why she's stepping down, maybe the biggest reason. They further claim if a deal is reached, it would become binding with a UN Security Council resolution. We have heard no updates from the US side, but the White House has repeatedly pushed back on premature reports and inaccurate reports about what these discussions entail. So, there we have it. Uh, I'm sure the president will be speaking about this. We'll see if we can uh zoom in on that cabinet meeting coming up. Uh, I'm sure the world will be watching whether or not this is real. So, again, what do we know right now? That the Iranians have decided that they want to have a deal allegedly until they don't. Remember, we're talking shenanigans. We're talking a lot of bad ombres, if you will, when we're talking about the Iranians. Uh, other news of the day that impacts Idaho. Could we see a possible freeze of data centers in Idaho? Well, this state says yes. Citrus County, Florida commissioners have approved a one-year freeze on resoning applications tied to new AI data centers after public backlash. No I didn't buy Micron at FOMO. Just call me Kevin Fomo. So now they're saying that this stock of this Boisey based international conglomerate could be $1,000 a share, maybe $1,500 a share. Uh let's see. Micron had just became worth more than $1 trillion for the first time. Now here's another one here. Who needs Dave Po? because you've got this guy on the internet saying, "Here are the top picks where you can manage for, you know, to buy right now to get rich." By the way, this is for entertainment purposes only. I am far from knowing anything about the stock market, but it's just something that it's so big you can't ignore. Uh let's see, it's Nvidia, AMD, Micron, TSM, whatever they are. uh App Applavin uh Microsoft and Google Schmoogle. Anyway, and of course before what is it SpaceX or whatever the the company Elon Musk has that's going to go do the IPOs. I mean with 401ks, everybody's into this stuff. But here we have Micron, which again, if you've ever listened to Dave Po's show, you had Morrison, Canudson, Simplot, uh Yankee, and a few other of these guys got together and they saw what was going on in Silicon Valley and they said, "Look, we can do that here under the cover of very little regulations. We can bring people in." And they lost millions on this thing. In fact, in 0809, Micron was done. It was laying people off. It was over. Uh it rebounded a little and then all of a sudden, you know, Steve Appleton died. beloved local iconic innovator Micron you know he would go toe-to-toe with uh you know a lot of those people the the big names if you will Steve Jobs he was like our Steve Jobs and so then they were looking for a new CEO and there was a lot of mixture and then the Chinese and I know people listen to the show they go the Chinese are always the boogeyman they tried to buy Micron and President Trump during his first temp first term said not so fast my friend and boom Boom. They didn't buy Micron. And then all of a sudden, what they were doing became the in thing, the big thing, the next big thing. And again, you had the Chips and Salsa Act that every member of our delegation voted against, but the governor realizing the importance of this, the mayor of Boisey, who says Joe Biden also realized the importance of this. Boise got the biggest FOB ever until New York got the one that's even bigger. And if you think that ours is big, imagine the one that's going on in upstate New York, but you drive by on your way to Mountain Home, back from Mountain Home off Federal Way, and it's a really a community of cranes. And so even if you're not into the tech thing as we were trying to figure out how to spell Claude two hours ago or my new AI tool Schmod um you take a look at all the the infrastructure that is being built there. All that all that is being built there. It was just amazing. and all the trades people and we had Dwayne the electrician tell us about all the trades that are being employed to build this incredible facility and then you have people that are going to be working there or their suppliers that are coming in and it's just a giant magnet to the state of Idaho that I would argue is going to vastly rewire the state. I'm not saying that in a bad way. I'm just saying that in an accurate way when the airport has to make adjustments. There's a lot going on here that is simply amazing. So we have from CNBC the Micron CEO talking about the quarter 2 results and really what it means. Let's take a listen across the end market segments. Uh, of course, HVM is in tight supply and non-HVM DAM is in tight supply along with uh, NAND, they are all in tight supply. We have tightness across all our end market segments. We are only able to supply for our key customers in the midterm about 50% to 2/3 of their requirements. We are continuing to work hard to bring up supply but bringing up supply is a very long lead item because DM needs new capacity. New capacity takes new construction. Construction is long lead time item. So earliest that we see in the industry meaningful ramp starting to happen and it will gradually happen over time is starting in 2028 time frame. So I do not see supply catching up to demand for considerable period of time here. Of course this is a period of heavy allocation. Micron has a very strong technology and product portfolio and we continue to optimize the mix of our business. Today nonHBM DM has actually higher profitability than HPM. NAND has strong profitability as well. So we are managing the mix of the business keeping in mind long-term considerations and absolutely data center is the biggest growth driver. We are well positioned with our product portfolio including HPM to address these demand trends. So again I don't know I really don't know what he's saying but that's just amazing. Now again, I'm not a stock guy, but as Dave PZO told us, this thing was 94 bucks 2 years ago. I've just seen it in the past hour go from 850 to 900 to 941. So again, a hot stock. What does that mean for us in Idaho? I guess it's a good thing. in the last week. And like I said, I'm I'm not very comfortable doing this, but it's a local story at 5805436580 KO. Let me just let me just break this down. Uh [clears throat] it's gone up 865% in a year. In the last month, uh it's gone up 75%. in the last week almost 30%. And today 3.3%. A boyisey based company that is shocking the world. Now why is it shocking the world? As he said these data centers need to be fueled and the demand is exceeding supply. Even President Trump loves Micron. Bring it back. Joe Bonnie is building a $1.2 billion dairy plant in Rome, New York. The largest investment in the history of the company. Big company. And Micron, boy, Micron's great. They're investing hundreds of millions. In fact, it'll be probably could be very close by the time they finish out over $100 billion in Clay New York. Anybody come from clay? Yeah. Nobody cares about clay New York. Nobody cares about Rome, New York. By the way, Mr. Chabani got his start in Idaho. He he has some New York connections. If you ever watch the 60 Minutes profile, I believe with Leslie Stall on Mr. Chabani, he came to this country, I believe, as a Turkish immigrant. He found an old factory, what is it, a Danon factory that was just sitting idle in upstate New York. Came up with the Greek yogurt thing and then fell in love with Idaho. You got the dairy there. You got Twin Falls there. I was always mad that it wasn't in our area, but regardless. And there, here you have it. So, the same Isn't it odd? President Trump talking about two companies with Idaho ties. By the way, I guess the the the dairy in New York will exceed the one or the the dairy processing will exceed the one in Idaho, which is, I think, the world's largest right now. Now it's worth1 trillion. A 14 times explosion in a single year. Now, why is this happening? Well, because President Trump decided that he was going to do what? That President Trump was going to bring jobs back. He's not getting a lot of credit. And going back to what Dave Po said, this is really weird. [music] He'd rather hang out with us than a cabinet meeting that the president is going to hold at any minute now. Uh good morning, sir. Yeah, it's in about an hour. Actually, we'll we'll be in for that is the radio pull reporter, but we got an hour before that starts. And it's here at the White House. Uh not Camp David as was once uh the plan for this. I mean, would have been unique. The president, one, this president in particular doesn't visit Camp David um a whole lot. And two, it is unusual to kind of dispatch the entire cabinet up to uh to Camp David, which is a pretty good hike from uh from Washington DC. You know, uh I I assume you've been to Camp David. I've been there once. It is very rare uh for reporters to go. A couple of years ago, you may remember that President Biden held a trilateral meeting with the leaders of South Korea and Japan. They had a press conference. They bust uh the press corps up there. Uh it took about 90 minutes, 2 hours. We were very limited in where we could access. But the best part of that trip because as I said, I don't know when I'll get to go back up there again. Is Camp David very famously has a gift shop. They brought kind of a mobile gift shop to where the press was and we all spent way more than we should [laughter] have on on um items with the uh the seal of Camp David on them. But they're cool souvenirs and again it's it's rare um for for people to get to go up there. So if I don't get up there again at least I've got the uh the golf shirt and um a Christmas tree ornament to prove that I was there once. No, the only reason why I know that is there's a scene in Billions the last season where they go to Camp David. I I just always wondered about that after I saw that. So it's I mean it you know it's it's beautiful. I get why Eisenhower built it. I get why presidents like recall we were there in the summer and it felt maybe 10 to 15° cooler up there. It's beautiful space and certainly if the president wants some privacy uh that is where to go. It is why presidents including President Trump have used it as a place to hold um sort of highlevel meetings with uh foreign leaders. Um they can do it outside of the eyes of of the press. they can uh have a lot of privacy, get away uh from kind of the the hustle and bustle of Washington DC. And so in that sense, it maybe made sense that President Trump would want to have a cabinet meeting up there. On the other hand, we know that these cabinet meetings have turned into almost mustsee TV and that's the expectation uh for this morning as well with a lot I think to hear from the president about. We are in what appears to be a pretty critical phase now of these Iran negotiations. What does this memorandum look like? Are they close to signing off on it? What is that going to mean for the Straight of Hormuz, the naval blockade, fuel prices, oil prices, gas prices, obviously Iran's um nuclear program. So, a lot of questions about that. And I imagine we will hear uh the president's uh reaction to last night's uh runoff election in Texas where the endorsement from President Trump again ended the reelection bid of a sitting United States senator. Jared is a political wonk. Uh what do you make of that one? Um boy, there was a lot of money spent. John Cornin couldn't get over the top. he goes into a runoff with a flawed candidate and now he's the main guy. I mean, part of it is kind of the the way that Texas politics work. I mean, and they're not the only state to do it, but to have this kind of runoff system. Remember, John Cornin did win the uh initial primary in what was a threeperson race, but he fell well short of the 50% you need to avoid a runoff. So, advances with uh Ken Paxton. Kin Paxton uh really galvanized the MAGA base, the the conservative base who thought that uh Cornin had maybe been too um too establishment. John Cornin has been a United States senator for I think a quarter of a century. Um was a uh Supreme Court justice, a Texas Supreme Court justice before that. So certainly is well known, has statewide name recognition. So does Ken Paxton. Um, and then that endorsement from President Trump last week certainly put Paxton over the top if there was any doubt. There were a lot of polls and and others that believe that Paxton would have won that regardless, but the endorsement from the president certainly certainly put that campaign in the hyperdrive. The question is now the general um I have spoken to some Republican strategists who have said, you know, a Paxton and Telerico matchup um could be better than what they thought would happen with John Cornin. Um, and we'll see. Um, there is going to be a lot of money spent in that Senate race. I promise you that. And that's the other question because, you know, as much as we talk about money being spent in politics, it is finite. That means that for every dollar that is spent in Texas, it is one less that can be spent in say North Carolina or Georgia or Ohio or Wisconsin or any number of Alaska, any number of states where we're going to also have very competitive Senate races. Well, and a lot of people um are are pointing that out, but um you know, I go back to North Carolina. Roy Cooper is I mean, he was on the short list to be the VP. He's kind of a mainstream Democrat. But I've covered him for years and North Carolina could be a big right a former governor like you has won statewide before. Um and yeah, I think he is one of those is the is the Democratic party kind of tries to refind its footing and this is something that parties go through after a big loss like they went through in 2024. Um you know there's going to be kind of a rift, right? Does the party need to, you know, go younger and more progressive? Does a party need to go more centrist? And and they're going to look at these types of Senate races to see where are we successful, where are we not, where's the message winning? And if you see some of these, to your point, kind of more moderate Democrats flip some of these races, that's going to be very telling in how the nomination for 2028 moves forward, which, by the way, I imagine starts uh one or two days [laughter] after the final votes are counted uh in the midterms. Uh finally uh when we're taking a look at um the president touting Micron now becoming a trillion dollar stock today based in Boisee Chabani uh big Idaho connections. Would the president ever give credit to the chips act for starting this whole thing? It's a good question. uh he does not like the chips act um because he does not believe that these companies should have been uh kind of given this startup money or these federal benefits to open up shop. He believes that the bigger issue was um you know tariffing countries to move them to this country. So he certainly has taken a different approach and seems to credit his approach uh over the chips act. But listen, you and I both covered the chips act. I remember when Micron was here at the White House with Biden, uh, a lot of Idaho lawmakers who I don't suppose voted for Biden, uh, were here and it was a big deal, right? Um, and so I think that there is certainly an argument to be made that the chips act was successful, but we have also seen the president sort of win these big um investment packages essentially by promising to wave tariffs or lift tariffs in some capacity uh for these international companies. Um, one more for our great friend J Halpin if you have time for a second. Um, yeah, it all comes down to the midterms, possibly this deal with Iran. Maybe it's just in time, but um affordability will be the big issue. How do you see this? I mean, I know it's very early, but uh we still have some more primaries to go that the midterms are upon us. They are. And listen, the economy, affordability, cost of living is going to be the number one issue. We know that because poll after poll after poll after poll tells us that there is no bigger issue uh that kind of drives the cost of living more than gas prices because not only is it something that almost everybody has to pay um you know regularly, but it also, you know, contributes to the cost of groceries and deliveries and everything else. So the longer that you have these elevated gas prices, uh the harder certainly it's going to be for Republicans to make that case on affordability. That being said, um, Democrats are going to have to make the case that they're going to be able to to bring them down and and, you know, turn the ship around. Um, so, you know, that's why campaigns are are kind of fought in the margins and fought in the middle. Um, but yeah, the the harder the the higher that gas prices are and the longer that persists, certainly that creates more challenging conditions, a tougher environment for Republicans. And as we were going to break this down moments ago, just going over the stock value of this, just uh the incredible rise perhaps even rivals Donald Trump when you're thinking about at one time the company written off not only once but several times. And now whether it's the tariffs, whether it's the chipps, whether it's China, Micron is booming. Let me just break this down. Um Micron since 2008, what is it? - 63% uh 300% - 24% in 2010 2011 - 20 21% 2012.79 whatever that is up 243% in 2013 uh up 60% in 2014 2015 minus almost 60% and it goes on and on and on and just and again I'm sure the folks in Sun Valley at Allen and Company will be talking about this but a company right here that is uh employing a lot of trades people and the like all because of AI all because of the chips and you know in a week the stock has gone up 30%. Now again what goes up must come down I suppose but um if you bought Micron stock last year last year you're up over 856%. President Trump announced plans for the firstofits-kind event earlier this year and was joined by UFC fighters to reveal the event's card. Uh America continues to uh feel the fallout of the Texas elections. Uh last night it was the Thunderdome and everybody getting mad saying Ken Paxton is the most horrible candidate ever. Let's take a listen. currently play out. All these uh analysis of this race is sort of the differences between what a cornin or a Paxton would look like here. I'm thinking about the differences between Taler Rico and literally every other Texan. Don't know any Texans who believe in six genders other than Talorico. Don't know any Texans who said it's immoral to eat meat other than Talico. Don't know any Texans who walk around saying things, you know, God is non-binary. You all are both Texans. Do you know any other Texan who even talks like that? Issues aside, who says these things out loud when this gets when this gets adjudicated? Um, pretty amazing. pretty amazing when we're thinking about this and just how wild the world of politics has become. And you know, we were talking to Lars Larson about this about this time yesterday and he goes, "Wow, Texas, what's the big deal? Texas is huge." And again, we live in this bubble. Thank goodness we live in this bubble in Idaho where we have disagreements within the Republican party, the conservatives, but we don't have to really worry about the liberals except in the city of Boise that I believe they're going to raise taxes again in Boise. Wow, that's a tough one. Are people going to, you know, stay in Boise? Can people afford Boise? Um, affordability. You know, nobody brought that up. You know what the weirdest thing is? Is during all these campaigns when people attacked and we'll go with this one. We'll we'll we'll give you the most obvious example, people went after the governor. Now, the governor again, I as I said before, has been very shrewd. Uh, signed the trigger law. first governor before anybody else to protect women's sports, but that's not good enough. Now, again, on the other hand, you have corporations that run wild and free. There's a trade-off for everything. Do you want a Do you want a liberal in? Do you want, you know, the mayor of Boyisey to be the governor? You you want to talk about culture shock? I mean, there'd be rainbows and unicorns everywhere, and some people wouldn't have a problem with that. Okay. So, I mean, it just you wouldn't. we'd all be singing in the Navy or YMCA or or what have you. And you know, and again, shame on me for going to the cultural level when you have, you know, big money spending on tax and tax and spend programs in Boisey that really don't equate to what's going on in state government. So, the governor shrewdely um you know, decided to break up with the teachers union. They got mad, but they don't have an alternative. They're they're not going to get an alternative. Um, we we have it really good here. You know, you you want to do something crazy for a night. Go to um Amazon Prime if you have it. Most of us do. And go to live TV and pick your favorite West Coast city. Uh for me, I I really like Portland's 12, Fox 12 in Portland because they do an enormous amount of community work. I mean, they do Christmas in July, they do this, they do that. They're just amazing. And again, they they have a lot of resources, more than we have here. And then you really want to go somewhere, go to King Five in Seattle. And I'm sitting there watching TV and they did this whole big thing on an an illegal alien, illegal immigrant, undocumented person with two kids, came to America, literally walked to America from like Colombia or whatever. And she wanted to go home, wanted to self-epport, but couldn't because the app didn't work. And after six goodbyes, she finally paid for her own ticket, which by the way, most of us, if we want to go somewhere, you have to pay for your own ticket and then she went home. You want to talk and then you compare it to what we have with local news where you have the statesman outside our building that we share with them yelling about AI, uh the retirement of Don Nelson. Uh but those issues were never brought up. Let's say that the governor's this that the other. Nobody has made that case. And maybe you can't without big money. I think we should not lose sight of the fact that this is a long game for Republicans. The undermining of VRA is not just about this particular midterm. It's about midterms. So, I think Democrats are going to continue to fight fire with fire because we understand that this isn't just about November. Again, it's a long-term play to undermine black political power. How does this how how does the Cala case, the [clears throat] VRA case, undermine black political power? All black Americans, all white Americans, all Americans before the Cala case had one vote and now they all still have the franchise and they have one vote. Why is it undermining black political power just to take away an artificial floor of Democratic seats? So I was in the voting section of the civil rights division and I'll tell you as everyone realizes that when you dilute the voting power of particular population, the one person one vote is essentially a myth. If you tell them that they're going to be separated and can never actually vote for a candidate of their choosing or have the opportunity to have that candidate elected, that's problematic. And before you give me that squint, don't tell me that Republicans have fewer offices in the New England or whatever. But the crux of the matter is the Voting Rights Act in 1965 was designed to make sure that voting strength was universal. And if you dilute that power through gerrymandering and separating districts, then you do undermine the ability to do that very thing. But to elect a candidate of their choosing, not So it's getting bad here for Scott Jennings in a moment. It's going to get very bad for him in a moment. And look, logically, you could say that the Voting Rags Act when they did the gerrymandering, you don't need that anymore. You take a look at television, you take a look at everything else, it's more diversified. And in New England, they're all liberals. In the South, they're all conservatives. But when they start vilifying Republicans, there's something going on in South Carolina. There's something going on in Alabama. And you know, we'll we'll we'll call this a racially good lesson, and we'll get back to this clip in a minute, but sometimes we need to talk about the good things. Uh James Klyber has been in South Carolina for years. His district could be blown up, gone. You have a and again you have here we go white Republicans that are voting to keep his district the way it is because they don't believe that that change is warranted. Now would that if the shoe were on the other foot, would that happen? I don't know. I'd like to think that it would. In Alabama, one of the most racially vilified states in the in the history of our country, they voted not to redistrict to eliminate those uh uber minority districts. And yet here we have people saying racist this that and the other. Both cases could have given the president in Congress much more seats for the Republicans. These folks chose not to do that. They will never get a pat on the back, a tip of the cap. But it is something that we should all know. Now again, this gets very bad, but let's get to the news. That mean, and this happens occasionally with this program, with any program, you can almost hear it going very, very bad and very, very emotional. A candidate of their choosing, not entitled to the winner, but a candidate of your choosing. But they're going to go to the polls and they're going to see names on a ballot and they can vote for anybody on that ballot they want. I to me the underpinninging of your argument is black political power must be aimed only at one political party. I think the conservative argument here is is that black voters, white voters, any voters in any community ought to expect out of both parties an argument what's best for me as an individual American voter. And so to try to group people together and say you all are you all are forced to vote for one kind of a candidate aka Democrat. I hear you Scott, but you're not you're not quoting my argument. You're quoting someone else's. Mine is actually directly related to the voting power and it's not about partisanship. You asked the question as to why and how it could undermine black voting strength. If what you say is true, there would have been no reason to dissect Memphis in the way that it was. If what you say was true, there'd be no reason to jerrymander district with a goal towards what what President Trump spoke about, trying to add particular numbers to one particular side. Our entire debt for the United States, national debt was 458 billion. The the Dow Jones industrial average was only 851. Our budget deficit for that year was 8.4 billion and the total value of the US stock market was 1.3 trillion. Now is that that that I mean Micron almost trumps all of those just the value of one company. I it it it boggles my mind uh the difference those decades have made both to this this valley that company and uh and our nation. Well, and remember, it wasn't always chips and roses, if you will. Oh. Oh, absolutely not. In 73, Idaho relied on agricultural, government, mining, and all of its income. Now, look at us. Well, you know, we we talk about everybody coming to Idaho and you see a lot of this stuff coming in, but uh I I and again, I'm not sounding alarmist, but I think there is so much going on that we don't know about. I mean, the influx of people just in the Boisee area and obviously the spillover and you have people working in storage units and all sorts of things cuz there just isn't enough and that's just Micron. But, uh, he was making 120 bucks an hour plus his PDMs and other benefits. Uh, and this is a a kid in his 20s. Uh, more money than I've ever I ever made in any year in my life. And I'm proud of him. And that's you can multiply that by a thousand at least as far as the incomes that are being generated on that site. Boy, it's time to learn welding. Lebanon is getting blown up because of Hezbollah and Hamas. More Hezbollah than Hamas. The president is going to have a cabinet meeting. And in that cabinet meeting, they're going to discuss the possible new deal with the Mullas, the new deal with the Iranians, the new deal that could open up the Straits of Hormuz. that could not only open up the straits of Hormuse but also um get the oil markets rolling and you know it's kind of like [sighs] I guess we could we could relate this to a giant rebooting of the computer if you will where uh you would like to think that uh you know once you reboot it everything's going and it takes a while for those systems to get rolling again and again and again. So, we'll continue to monitor that. And again, when uh the president has his cabinet meeting, we'll try and jump in as well. Oh, and I go to work occasionally. I make guest appearances there. So, I uh at this facility, and you've got the this couple in front of me, maybe a little younger than me, maybe a lot younger than me, and they're giving the order to this person, and this guy is a nice person. uh we could tell that he, you know, is a a male. And it's funny because and and maybe it's because this person was new to the job, but he kept messing up the order and it was almost like a skit out of SNL because they'd say, "Hey, we need this." And then it would be something else. And then it it gets so bad that you you you just go, "I give up. I give up. I give up. I'll just take what you give me. That's why, you know, when you have great customer service, you reward it. Like I went to this pizza place. I wanted, what was it? Uh, artich chokes on my pizza. And they didn't give it to me. And I said to them, "Hey, where are the artich chokes? I paid extra for this." And the lady smiled and I just went on my way. You know, the standard of excellence in this country is it's, you know, if you demand something, then you're offensive, which is crazy because the world we grew up in, you you did things the right way. And you can judge that on conservatism. You know, it's very easy when you have people that just label people toxic, like this quarterback from the New York Jets. He gets the opportunity to introduce Donald Trump and then you have people ripping him. Well, maybe they're jealous. Maybe they'll never get a chance to be. Not everybody could be the quarterback, but the overall issue here is what? The overall issue is censorship of conservatism. Now, you remember years ago, what was it? Kroger. And I'm so happy that Kroger and Albertton's didn't merge, but Kroger, remember Kroger, where you had one person go on then known as Twitter, now known as X, and rip uh a muscular George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and Abraham Lincoln carrying weapons on a t-shirt and saying, "God bless America or the old adage, peace through superior firepower," or one of those things. And that one tweet because people are so overly sensitive. They don't want to be offensive. What did they do? They took it off the shelf, which is just simply amazing. The power of the woke. But in America, as we've been playing these clips, uh I'm an eighth generation Texan who's white and I eat meat. You know you're in trouble when your biggest folks, your biggest supporters are defending you as a meateater. Nothing personal against vegans. Nothing personal at all. Um but people don't seem to like this. We're talking about James Tal Rico of Texas. Now other people are saying now now other people are you're going to love this one. Now other people are calling him James Talrio. And do I wish that everybody would be uh you know more appropriate, more responsible? Yes. Exactly. You know, here we have um a Fox News correspondent confronting a protester who called her a Nazi uh a quote Nazi b-word uh as a wild on air clash. It's just crazy. I don't know how why we have to delve into the vulgarity. We have to vilify people. If someone gets the opportunity to be associated with uh a representative, whether it's the mayor of Boise, whether it's the president of the United States, I think that's an honor. Instead, we've turned this into political. So, you have people piecing out because they don't want to get in trouble. Well, eventually the censorship is going to catch up to everyone. And you know, you go back to the Federalist papers, you go back to some of the things they wrote about each other in newspaper editorials. We've always had that provocative speech and without that I believe our republic suffers. Kevin Miller 580 ko issues that matter to you. Uh look out tonight. It looks like southwest Idaho will see temperatures in the 80s today but again afternoon thunderstorms could be on the way throughout the afternoon evening. Highs today again in the low 80s in Boisey and Twin Falls as well. The region experienced cooler weather yesterday due to a cold front, but the unsettled weather pattern does remain leading to daily afternoon thunderstorms. Some storms may bring gusty winds, heavy wind, blowing dust, and small hail. The unsettled weather will continue through the end of the week before warmer and drier conditions return early next week. In other words, hot conditions. Any day that we can get rain is a good day. And I know it's a pain. And I know it's tough. And I know people, you know, especially around the new construction when you see it looks like the dust bowl of 1920 whatever or the 1930s. Um again, when you take a look at um what's going on here, uh any day that we can get wet weather is appreciated. any day. Uh considering the low low low low snow pack that we have. Um obviously, you know, some of us uh we're already getting the the the brown on our lawn, if you will. I will tell you this, any day that we can get some type of winterish [laughter] winterish um rain is a good day, right? Um so again, something to look out for. As we first told you on our website, uh the big major announcement, the LDS church announced a site for Caldwell. Uh the new temple in Caldwell on Orchard and Florida avenues. Uh you can read the story on our website. Apparently, let's see. We'll provide a closer worship location for the 47,000 Latter-day Saints in the States. I think that's actually a half a million uh 470,000. Again, you've got to watch AI. AI is nice, but AI is not overly accurate. Earlier today, we were talking about AI. And we were breaking down the conundrum within um people that provide information like those involved at the Idaho Statesmen that really literally are a floor above us. So, and again, I thought one of the news stations did a really good job of getting a quote from a reporter who's been at the Statesman for 5 years. And again, these people could go somewhere else and make a lot more money. And I think that's the case for a lot of people in in Idaho. I think that's the case for many people because you choose to live here. And you [clears throat] may go to another state, you may be taxed more, maybe you'll be taxed less, but the quality of life in our state is really second to none. Now, we do have challenging traffic. Our home prices are not very affordable. But do you really want to live in Cincinnati, Ohio? Do you really want to live in Louisville, Kentucky? Do you really want to live in Indianapolis, Indiana? And maybe for some people, those are ideal locations and they're very nice, but there's massive congestion. people there in Ohio, in Indiana, in Kentucky, they're very not so friendly. They're they're not as friendly as people in Idaho, at least I found. And you know, you can go buy a house a lot more affordable, but is the job market the same? There are more people. That means there's less jobs. There's more liberal loons. and the the the massive I mean you could argue and maybe some employers have argued to you and to me that you know living here is worth an extra such and such thousands of dollars. Now hopefully we can afford it. But back to the young lady from the statesman that I thought had a brilliant brilliant brilliant uh argument and it was a sound clip where she said, "Look, I've worked here for five years. I love the reporting. I'm a great reporter." She didn't say that, but I did. And my I'm living I've been living in the same apartment for the same amount of time and my rent has gone up 30%. The employer is asking us to do 20% more for less money. Again, it's a challenge that most of us face. People have because this is a right to work state. Maybe you've experienced this at 5805436580 KO. People say, "Well, if you don't like it, you can leave." And then people are shocked when people leave. But are they going to really leave? Look at all the former TV people that are now working in public relations because the TV didn't pay them what they wanted. They they moved on to a later thing in life where it wasn't driven by ego or the need to tell a story. It was driven by uh a need to provide stability because the priorities changed from being about the job to being about the family. Now I I look at the Idaho Statesman people and what is it? They've got four Washington newspapers and the Statesmen and everybody else. If you're being asked to do 20% more of the work, you either go out and wear red t-shirts and talk about how unfair it is, or you do what Kevin Miller does and get obsessed with side hustles that allow you to do what you love. Like I said before, it is a challenging time, but employers in the state because the unemployment is so ridiculously low that they can get this way. And now the statesmen that usually has covered the news, they are actually the news. So, we're not only talking about here in Idaho, but you've got the Olympian Washington State newspapers. Uh, what did they go on strike for like a day or like a couple of hours because they were still covering the news. Um, apparently the strike was organized demanding better wages and protections from against AI use. Now, I will tell you that AI is everywhere. I mean, that's the only reason I can write. I still write my own stuff, but grammar has always been a fifth language to me. Yeah, you need to use AI. I do and it's still bad. But, you know, again, I think we're going to have to pick when it comes to people that drive our cars, people that deliver our stuff. Do we want I mean, last, what was it? Uh, a couple weeks ago, we reported that there's going to be drones in Nampa from Amazon. So, maybe if you get prescription drugs, the drone will drop it off, which to me is very eerie and very 1984. Anyway, the uh the people that own the place, Mlache, has refused to budge on wages, according to this story, offering salaries below the cost of living. Reporters argue that low wages make it difficult to afford to live in communities they cover. I would agree with you on that. The strike lasted a day with union members hoping Mlache will offer better deals for future negotiations. I I don't think so because again, uh they're going to say, "Well, we can get Timmy in here just like they do with everything else." But it does give you the argument about AI and what do you want? Do you want humans reporting with a bias or do you want AI reporting with a bias? So again, uh some of the major stories, we have those stories on our website. They wanted the they wanted the power. And you seen they said they they seen lots of millionaires jump out of buildings and kill themselves because of money. This AI thing down here with Micron, I hate to be skeptical, but I hate it. I don't like nothing about this electronic world. Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Not even this stupid flip phone I'm talking on. And the thing of it is is I don't know. It's just my speculation. I think it's going to be just like the roaring 20s. It was going like crazy and then 29 hit and it crashed. And I think we're going to see it. And you're going to see that place a dead skeleton. And I think that's just the way it is, Kevin. You know, they're wanting us to have cards instead of cash instead of money like we're supposed to have. They want you to have cards. And the the new generation of kids and people are falling right into it. I got one debit card. And if I ain't got money in there, I don't even use it, you know. And if I don't have money, that's why I never came down there, Kevin. And I'm sorry this time down there to support the mission. I have enough money to get down there. So, and I don't I'm not saying poor me. What I'm saying is it's just the signs of the times. And I don't know what all Trump's got up his sleeve on this stuff going over there in Iran, Kevin. Every time I've tempted to uh contact it just for information, if you have a dead straight question about something that is factual, say it's more technical in nature, it'll give you a decent answer or exactly the answer. But if you u if you are asking it a question that has any social implication on it at all, it is always going to lean towards what is the popular belief that's speculative. Like if you ask it right now how many genders there are, no more than two months ago, it said there was six genders. Now they're saying it's there's countless. It's there's countless genders. So, it it basically is following just basically like a Google format. And it's really sad because uh guess what? Your kids are tapping into it. They're looking into it. They'll ask questions and they'll believe everything it says. And so, I think that's the problem. That's a huge social default that's going to happen in the future. And if we think kids are bad now just from going to school, just wait till they keep uh hitting AI for information. What do you think of that? Well, well, that's the uh that's the challenge. And you know, Al and I go back and forth all the time. And he says, "Read a book." I'd like people to read books. I buy a lot of books. I [snorts] one day hope to do nothing but read these books, but people don't read. It's this video thing. It's the dopamine hit. And I'm not judging. It's just how it is today. And you know, you go into a place whether you're 65 or 25. People are glued to the phones until we have the chips. They're going in our brains. And then when people have the chips in their brains and what do we have now? the the meta uh you know glasses now that you know you could see the screens and all these things you know we're going to look back on the phones like we look back on the the horse and buggy. Yeah. It's like uh you know we used to have you know talks and stuff at dinner gettogethers and parties and now everyone's looking at their phone deciding what they're going to say and then they want you to see what they saw on like say some sort of video as proof of what they believe now and it's it's pretty frightening. Hear you're going to get a few storms down that end. [laughter] I got a storm for you on your end there, buddy. Yeah, they call me Stormy for short. Uh, and I am getting shorter. Anyway, I want I gotta tell you, I uh I hold on. I got to tell you, I was at a at a facility yesterday and I ran into a young lady by the name of Nancy and she goes, "Boy, that guy Tea Party Bob, is he for real?" I go, "No, he's not AI." And she goes, "You know, I was listening to him. He's got a lot going on." I go, "Oh, you should see him in person. He's got a lot going on." So, you got a fan. Nice to have fans. It gives me [snorts] a nice breeze in a hot weather. Well, they call it they, you know, they call it uh, you know, TPB nation. That's what I hear. We're not even close to that, my friend. Um, but I did want to address the questions uh from Mark Promeigal and Doug on their comments about the price of oil and how the oil companies manipulate prices to suck every nickel out of the consumer during a crisis like this. You know, first of all, all oil all oil is priced in a world market. So, US oil companies have no real control over the price. and we you know real supply demands we have a real supply demand situation but it's reasonable to assume that the sudden spike in the prices is partially padded by the oil companies and this is not a fabricated crisis. So, while the US crude prices are up roughly 72% since December uh 31st of 2025, the gas prices have risen nearly 30% since the start of the war. And while this is a price shock, the primary driver is a real supply disruption. It's not fabricated. Closing the straight of Hermuz removed close to 20% of the global supply which is a real shock not manufactured and the gouging question gets legitimate because historically oil companies have often used genuine prices to cover up and raise prices beyond what the supply disruption justified. And proof of that is realized when uh during the Ukraine war, oil companies raised prices and recorded record profits even as the supply pressures were easing. The California uh energy commission found an unexplained gasoline price premium of about 41 cents per gallon since 2015 to 2024, which cost drivers an estimated 59 billion. So if the premium existed in normal times, Mark is right. So is Doug, it's reasonable to assume that it would widen during a crisis. But what separates the price gouging from legitimate price increases, whether profits are rising faster than cost um in the global crude oil prices. They've jumped 70%. Refiners and retailers face real higher input and their profit margins while they are expanding at the same time they are taking a lot and taking a larger cut on the top of the higher brew kite crude prices. The signature of gouging is not necessarily that the signature of gouging is when the earnings reports come out and are posted. So however the spread between what refiners pay in cr in for the crude and what that they charge consumers is called the crack spread. Don't get smart with me on that. And this is where domestic companies have discretion and watching the number is how you detect gouging. Bottom line historically we know that oil companies have almost always taken advantage of a crisis like this. But the reality is this case is a genuine global supply crisis caused by uh the current uh situation over in the straight of Hormuz. But as I often say, we must trust but verify because the oil companies have proven that they will almost always take advantage of a situation like this and they will increase the prices. We know that from history with our major gasoline distributors in Idaho when they gouged us. I've never heard Hold on. I've never heard the term crack spread before. Well, you've never understood anything about the oil industry then. Are you Is that a term you just made up? It sounds like you made it up. That's an actual term, my friend. [laughter] Sorry. This is the problem. Most people don't understand a lot about the oil industry or the coal industry after being in the Yeah, I understand. I understand. They're ripping us off is what I understand. Well, there's no there there is no question they always do try to do this. But you forget to it's not just them. It's everything in between uh from the time it's produced and shipped, refined, and sent to the retailer. Everybody takes a little piece of the action and that's where you get these, you know, unusual price increases. So, it's it's not unrealistic. It's it does happen and Mark's right. Yeah, there probably is some gouging going on. Unfortunately, our legislature uh won't let us find out whether there is any going on because they stopped us from doing that at the retail level. That they did. Yeah. Unfortunately, we had a we had an attorney general, I think his name was Wazd, who stopped us from doing that. Unfortunately. No, actually he pro he prosecuted those people. There was an out of court settlement and then the legislature the legislature then decided to eliminate the attorney general's power to do that. Did you ever wonder how much money from the retailers or from those companies actually goes into the coffers of those trying [clears throat] to be elected? I'm just saying that Lawrence Wden held those people accountable and the conservative Republican dominated legislature decided that that would never happen again. Yeah. Did they ever admit the fact that they were price gouging? They didn't have to because it was an out of court settlement. Yes, that's exactly right. Think about that. I was I was there for that. Yeah, I remember much much vilified Lawrence Wden tried to save America. You know the answer and America didn't want to be saved. I know the the answer to the current gasoline prices is don't drive a lot [laughter] because there's no way to avoid it otherwise. You're starting to sound like Kent Goldthorp now. Oh, please. No, no, no. Mr. Pothole, no thank you. That's what Kent Mr. Pothole, that's what Kent Goldthorp says. Yeah. Now, Kent says a lot of things, but I uh I think Kent has has a a good heart. He he actually does. Um he just gets confused every once in a while. Well, and you know, a a lot of things that are not being reported that with the government shutdown, a lot of these projects that are currently underway, from what I understand, are going to be shut down primarily in some of the most highly congested areas. In other words, they're not going to be funded to fruition. So, the temporary congestion from what I'm hearing is um not so temporary anymore. No, it's going to get worse. And you could see that, you know, when they actually had the so-called Dodge Committee, well, here in Idaho, it's called Dodge, not Doge, they found this uh four, five, $600 million that, you know, they could have gotten rid of. And all of a sudden they came up with another 800 900 million that they needed. They never reduce never reduce the cost of government. It's always well but but but see here's the the interesting thing about it is here you have the uh you know everybody wanted to be like Trump. You know, you take a look at uh with all due respect the the the the big Doge committee. They do do and they went in and they cut a little. I think they got too close so they got the boot. The state's [clears throat] Doge Committee. And then when you try to like have a conversation with people, you get attacked and it's just odd. Um and I really go back to what Chris Tupus said. We're all here with the exception of you and Jim and Star and double secret probation Dylan and Patriot Ray and I can't name everybody, but I wish I could. That some people just want to get their and I'm not saying this in a bad way. Look, man, I don't want to watch Fox News all the time or whatever, but people just want to drink their beer, get their RVs, and let these people run the state for them. and they've come from states that hasn't been very nice. They come from states that haven't treated them very well and you know they don't want to get involved. Well, I'm a perfect example of that. Coming out here 33 years ago, that's all I wanted to do. RVs, hunting, fishing, exploring, having a good time. And then I saw the handwriting on a wall uh about 8 years after I got here and saw the changes that were taking place in the government we have in Idaho and how it was being controlled and ruled by uh the two biggest factions here, the corporate entities and the a entities. And we saw that in the last election as I have told you. But but but but here's another one and this hits close to home. You have the movement that could have saved the state, could have saved the country, but because it was so dangerous, it had to be defanged. It had to be discredited. It had to be destroyed. And that was the Tea Party. And I go back to you, me, Steve Arian, and Rusty Smurs. That that that that big coalition we had at Smoky Mountain in Meridian off Fair View. Exactly. Exactly. And how many how many Tea Party people are still active today when they were vilified and called all sorts of vulg vulgar names for wanting accountability. And you know, I I look at those folks and I feel so bad because that was the last shot. It was the precursor to Trump, but it was really the last shot for accountability and government oversight. And neither political party wants that. I think the reason it happened at that time we had 35 different organizations, conservative organizations that were we put together and were working in coordination with each other. Everybody got burnt out. They got they got tired of the fight. You know, after three, four, five years of not being able to move things forward, it gets pretty aggravating. Yes, we did make some some movement, but by the same token, the big money is still in control of what happens. You know, we're a bunch of farmers and um just plain workers who were doing their jobs every day and still trying to build something called the Tea Party. Uh and yeah, everybody g everybody in the political arena gave us accolades while behind our back they were screwing us every chance they got. Well, TPB, thank you very much as always. The President Trump's got incredible courage what he's done the last eight presidents and and there's been a lot of people talking about what he's done and constitutionally they can run for president. You know, there's article 2 section two, there's clearly one commander-in-chief. Well, when you look at who he's dealing with, he's dealing with a theocratic leadership. There's really four people he's dealing with. You look at uh Kmani who's is basically the supreme leader but we haven't seen him because he was injured on an air strike but you also have Arachi who's their foreign minister. He wrote the book on negotiations. You you look at Fahiti who's their runs the revolutionary guards and he's a theocratic nut. And then you've got the probably the only guy that's reasonable if you want to call him reasonable is Peskian who's the president but he's got no control over it. And right now when you look at it, Bill, what they've done is they're actually following their game plan pretty well. They, the Iranians, and what they call mosaic. And what they did is they decentralized all of the revolutionary guards. So each ones of in command of their own areas. That's the reason you're seeing them do dumb things like sending boats out into the Gulf. I don't think control at the senior level at all. I think the president's in their head. They know it. They're on a losing side right now. And I'm one of those who keeps pushing for the only way you can get it is is changing for a theocratic leadership. There are people out there who can do that. You know, when you look at Raja Palavi, who's the son of the former sha, you look at Marion Rojavi, who runs uh national coalition for the resistance to Iran. Both have got baggage. One was a part of the old sovereignty. The other is a new one and she's affiliated with the MEK, which was years ago considered a terrorist group. So, you don't really know right now. Now I think the president's got a problem in that he doesn't have anybody he can really deal with who can make any hard decisions because always left up to the supreme leader when you got Hmani which which is the one making the decisions but we don't know if he's really even alive or how coherent he is. So they've got a major problem going on right now. It's who do we really talk to that can make some hard decisions because right now it's supposed to be the sub leader. Yeah, Kevin, you know, uh that Iran thing is really pretty, uh messed up. um those people there's 90 million people in that country and uh 10% of the world's Islam is Shia and that is the most messed up sick torturous uh kind of theology that there ever was. and they've killed, you know, you hear different estimates like 35,000 to 55,000 of their own people just in the last few months because they're rebelling against the government or they're the government believes they're rebelling against the government. Now, if that is not enough right there to call for a regime change, um, and I think we do have a regime change and we could just maybe it isn't so too hard to to uh [clears throat] to overtake all of Iran, it might not be that difficult, but we don't even think about it. We don't talk about it. those people are going to be captive and those those same sick people are going to remain there capturing those people and I don't like it at all and I'm going to pray about it. I don't know what the real answer is but uh I don't think our people are praying about it. They're just they're just uh worried about you know uh uranium and the straits of Hormuse. I want to say another thing about uh our local politics. We had a lot of these uh [clears throat] better conservatives. Five out of the eight gang of eight were defeated and they were good people and they were defeated by more liberal people because uh even the Democrats and the liberals and the liberal Republicans, the establishment people put a lot of money against those people and it was terrible. and those and the g, you know, our supposedly people like us on our side, we're not going after them on the right issues. They're soft on baby murder. They're soft on LGBTQ. They don't want to have real money. They just want to get along economically and forget about all the moral issues. And so, you know, um, our the more conservative part of the Republicans, which I'm not, they did not want to attack those liberal people. And the governor is one of them, the lieutenant governor, all the constitutional officers. They all got together and said like, uh, Guthrie was a good guy. He's not a good guy. And uh I can't believe that we have this situation and then I guess I got my day. All right. You're okay. Pro-life. Go ahead. You didn't like You don't like Senator Guthrie. You don't like everybody else. Go ahead. It's okay. We're all here. It was just a little dingy dingy. I heard a thingy dingy and I thought it was 10:00. But anyway, um so I don't know what we need to do. Well, I know what we need to do. We need to turn back to Jesus Christ. And we need to really get serious about finding out what his attitude is about dealing with other people. And uh people aren't reading their New Testaments. They're just uh going to their psychology classes and getting messed up real bad. So, I don't know. Um, I like your program. Um, I listen a lot and uh, we need to just keep going and and maybe we need a third party cuz the Republican party is not going to be able to get along like this. People could come over. Now, now you have a you you you do have a bias because you're not a member of the Republican party. Yeah, I know. I couldn't be a member of the Republican party.
